QUICK QUESTION, under security and background information, the answer to all seem to be NO. But please, the question that says: Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in acordance with US law? Yes or No. What shuld it be?

Hi,

You would answer YES bcuz you are required to undergo a medical assessment prior to your interview. You must take immunization records showing vaccines received (if you have any). The embassy-appointed physician will conduct medical and tell you if you need vaccines etc, then he/she will send you to get vaccinated (extra cost;amount depends on country). You will then have records to show proof of vaccinations ☺

I read that question as Do you have it now...which we don't. we WILL will he goes through the medical exam. Now i'm worried that will cause an issue for us. :(

seeking some advice. I know anyone i authorize can be selected as agent on the DS-261 but I wanted to know what you guys think. I don't know what correspondence NVC will be sending over the next couple of months. Will they be sending things that I the beneficiary will need to wet sign, etc... and so if it got sent to my husband in the US he would have to send it to me anyway? Also, so far it's been taking about a week to get letters from NVC to my husband. I'm wondering if I choose myself as the agent, it might take longer for me to get things from NVC and thus possibly slow down the process? Any advice, suggestions appreciated on who would be the better choice as agent... me or my husband.

I agree with pbz...Choice agent should be petitioner/ US citizen spouse.They have the majority of responsibility and would need communication to get to them first so they can act upon it. Altho you get emails as well to simply keep you (beneficiary) informed, the person handling the brunt of the paperwork should be the Agent.

LinJoe, don't worry. We did the same as you and have a case complete. We answered 'No' to the vaccination question and in the textbox, we explained that all required vaccination will be taken care of during the medical exam prior to the interview.
