7 working days. They received my case on February 22nd.

you should definitely call! I looked at your timeline and your NVC received date is only two days after mine.

They are saying that there is still "mail pending" on the two cases that aren't complete. Is this normal? Everything was sent with cover sheets and in the same envelope, so it all arrived at the same time. Maybe each case should have gone into an envelope, then into a main envelope.

My husband mail our packages like this:

*1 large envelope for each petition (3 cases) - AoS package & IV package for each of us placed in it

*3 large envelopes labeled with each of our petition info and mailed out to NVC.

There was NO need for all those packets to fit in 1 envelope...unless you choose a different method of packaging, like a small box, etc.

seeking some advice. I know anyone i authorize can be selected as agent on the DS-261 but I wanted to know what you guys think. I don't know what correspondence NVC will be sending over the next couple of months. Will they be sending things that I the beneficiary will need to wet sign, etc... and so if it got sent to my husband in the US he would have to send it to me anyway? Also, so far it's been taking about a week to get letters from NVC to my husband. I'm wondering if I choose myself as the agent, it might take longer for me to get things from NVC and thus possibly slow down the process? Any advice, suggestions appreciated on who would be the better choice as agent... me or my husband.

Choose your husband, the petitioner, who is already in the US, as the agent. There is nothing the beneficiary needs to wet sign. Moreover, when sending the Affidavit of Support documents, it is the petitioner who will need to sign the I-864 form and submit along with all the other AOS and IV supporting documents.
