I only have my W2 is that good enough? On the list of required documents if I don't have a document what do I check unavailable or not applicable?

Thanks

That checklist is for your use don't worry about sending it back. You bring the AOS document cover page. That's the bar-coded sheet. Print it twice on for the AOS package and once for IV or if you still haven;t sent in by the time your IV fee is invoiced and paid print that also. They are the same.

No W2 is not good enough . Please read the NVC Process wiki so you can get all your information.

You have alot of gathering to do. Have you ordered your transcripts for 2014, 2013. Also you will need to be filling 2015 taxes.

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

The IV fee doesn't appear to be paid until your DS-261 is reviewed and then they unlock the IV fee within usually 24 hours.

The people you see paying AOS and IV same day didn't have DS-261 to submit so their AOS and IV is invoiced same day.

I gather you submitted DS-261 on March 9th also? You could try to call today for review might be too soon. I submitted DS-261 12/18 called every day sometimes twice. It finally was reviewed and unlocked 12/31. IV was unlocked and Paid on 1/4.

OH yea thanks!!! Called NVC and they said they unlocked IV and could be seen in the next day. Thanks

I mean the 1040 not W2. And yes I have all 3years 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Nope not enough. You don;t have your 2015 W2? It just came out? How were you able to do your taxes with out one.

Personally I would go online and order your 2013, 2014 and 2015 Tax Transcripts which are preferred because it includes everything filed including W2.

You have to submit either Tax Forms and W2 or Tax transcripts. I say order tax transcripts for previous years so you have for interview.

But only beat the poverty line for 2015 year because I have dependent Hope it's ok

Long as you are at or above for current and previous there's no problem. Current as in what you will make in 2016 and previous is your 2015 taxes.

I have been trying to estimate count for a cc however I don't think anything is accurate anymore. Which is good don't get me wrong!

I mailed out the first package and scanned on 2/22/16 recieved a checklist emailed on 3/3/16

That' is 10 day apart.

However

We sent in our missing information before the checklist notification received on 3/1/16 scanned on 3/9/16 (called to verified)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a complete case before the end of this month.

Embassy is Ciudad Juarez - priority date 7/2/15

Anything is possible!! ??

For AOS my husband is filling out the I-864 form. He is working so he has evidence of income. He also has 2013,2014 W2 because he did have work on those years. But he wasn't in the US for 2015 tax year ( he was in Hong Kong with me and didn't work) and didn't fill tax. Base on NVC , he needs to writ Sth to explain why he didn't fill tax.

Is there any guidelines or reference for him ?

From NVC web:

If you did not file taxes: If you did not file Federal Income Tax Returns for the most recent tax year, write and sign a statement indicating why you did not file taxes.

Thanks !!

Um did anyone have the same situation? or any advice on writing the statement?

Thanks >.< coz my husband is working on that and thats the only thing left for AOS and IV packages.

I hope all goes smooth for you!! Were you told they would require an additional 30 days to review the case? You were at least notified by email. We got a checklist as well and never got an email (or snail mail). Had we not called for an address change, we wouldn't have found out about our missing doc.

OH no just realize my husband only have filled tax for tax year 2012, 2013 ... and did not do 2014 because he was in Hong Kong from July 2014 till Sept 2015

And he hasn't filled tax for tax year 2015. Now he is in the US and has started work since Jan 2016...

for this situation... is it enough for AOS packages :

2012 2013 2014 W2 + pay stubs from recently company +I-864 + AOS payment bar code sheet + a statement explaining not filling tax for tax year 2014
