Just to give an update: After a smooth journey through NVC and my wife's approval after her March 16 interview in Montreal, we are infuriatingly stuck in Canada Post's administrative hell.

The embassy mailed her passport on the 18th, and the tracking site listed the expected delivery in Abbotsford, BC for the 24th. We tracked it all the way to the Abbotsford post office on the morning of the 24th, but it said it was still waiting for final sorting for pick up.

It was stuck there all day, and for some ungodly reason those idiots sent it BACK to the Richmond distribution center. The next day they were closed for Good Friday, and yesterday they were closed for a long weekend holiday.

This morning the tracking showed it heading back to Abbotsford, so my wife packed all her things in the minivan and drove to the post office. Incredibly, when she got there it was still waiting to be sorted, and the clerk could not give her any information about where it physically was located. (She seemed to be implying that she was looking at the same general public tracking website that my wife was looking at...!)

Canada Post doesn't list any phone number to call that facility directly, so I had to call an 800 number to speak to a customer service representative on the other side of Canada, who said he would issue a work order with 'high' priority. Meanwhile, my wife is stuck in limbo with an approved visa being bumbled between cities by these clowns. If it's not delivered tomorrow, I will personally drive up to Canada and not stop until I get some manager to find out where it is and personally place it in my wife's hand.

Congratulations to everyone, especially to those at the Jamaican Embassy who have had a very long wait for Interview dates. All the best in the rest of the journey.

Nothing about this Immigration process has been exciting for me, I am sure if you check my timeline, you will understand better. I have two quick questions:

1. Does the 3 N/As usually mean you have a high chance of being scheduled for Interview? I observed mine on Friday or so.

2. Since most of the time, this forum focuses more on IR1/CR1, I don't have much to say. But please, can someone with the F2A category also try calling NVC for Interview Scheduling?

To Dwheels and all who have been of great help to everyone on this frustrating journey, special thanks to you all.

This thread sure many are IR1/CR1 but all category of Visas going though NVC is welcomed here and on the spreadsheet.

1. 3 NA's only relate to Case Complete. Since you a a F2A category of course that means your PD also has to be current. Each embassy scheduled your category differently and because of the Visa # needing to be created limited amount of interview slots are available Many F2A's get case Complete and wait months or over a year. It's all about your PD and your embassy availability of Visa #s for that year.

Of course you can always call. They will never tel ou where you are n the queue. You can ask have you started scheduling F2A for Nigeria. Nigeria started scheduling yesterday.
