To change your date after scheduling you would need to wait until your case file gets to embassy (CEAC status will say READY) you would then email embassy and request a later day.

But you will know in the next 3 weeks if you got a May date or not.

will they allow yo to renew with still a year of validity?

am not sure will have to go to the passport office but am just wondering if embassy will tell me to get it renew

You only need 6 months of validity at time of interview. So long as your interview is before October you are fine.

Oh well...more Garrett's to eat????, watta to drink and weight to gain....(LOL) and I will cheer on and enjoy the excitement of my fellow VJers that do get a date this go round.

Oh gosh, time feels like it has stopped! Everything else has gone so fast but now waiting for the interview is so unbelievably difficult. Even with an 8 year old and an almost 8 month old and a full-time job to keep me busy, still the days are taking so long!!! I'm still smiling because we are so close to the end. Sending good luck and well wishes to everyone. I don't post often but I keep up with the thread and think good approval thoughts for everyone xo April 5th please come faster lol
