lol, not a bad idea! I understand how he feels, but the interview date will be here before he knows it. Was talking with some friends earlier and we were saying how fast this month has flown by, at least it feels that way.

same, cause all data said 7 months but those were transfers. I'm so happy it's soon and that others now know it's not that long a wait. Seriously started to Panic..lol

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

3/11/15 interview email

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

June 23rd case was touched by embassy

August 1st case was touched again.

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

Okay called NVC just now to inquire about the error I made with my birth city, birth state and country. Lord I put I was born in Houston Texas, Nigeria. LOL And its Georgetown South Carolina, USA heh

7 days after case complete. Maybe today or tomorrow. Really doesn't matter if you got confirmation via phone. That's what matters..

I have a question,

Are cases typically adjudicated at NVC, and the interviews usually take place just to confirm that all documents are true and genuine? or the consular officer may decide to deny a case after the interview, based on circumstances that were already approved and accepted by the NVC?

Since you are a EB-2 make sure you have your resume with you at interview. Have seen a few get put in AP because CO wanted to see.

I printed 70 pages from FB over 3 months and that was all we needed. But we also lived together in Denmark from 2001 to Dec last year. So it mad it a bit more smooth.

I´m not sure you need all of it.

You can have some information from FB and rest from Whatsapp.

That's too much playing. I looked at the screen shots and was like it would take me a week of screen shots of everything since June last year./

I'll just finish printing the 244 Whatsapp and 146 Facebook.

They set my husband's medical for 2 days before interview. He has to go 5 days before this to get shots and shot record book.

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.

8/4/2015 NOA1 (Nebraska)

12/17/2015 NOA2

What is packet 3 and for? Is this also has to do something with mumbai consulate?

If you are going for CR1/IR1 Packet 3 is nothing for you. The interview letter will be the Packet 4.

So you have 390 pages ??

That is way more then they have time to look at.

But you can always turn it over and draw on it after the interview ;)

1. Sorry - when you abandoned the green card, the counter went back to zero. As an IR-1/CR-1 visa holder, you will have to have been a permanent resident for 3 years - starting from the date of your POE.

2. No - it does not count. The 18 months has to be within the three years since your POE.
