Ahh, maybe I should wait a bit then. I paid the fee like 2 weeks ago before hubby arrived and I just created ELIS today. I found some info on the USCS site and I thought I could check status there, but the last status case on that one was when it was sent to NVC in October (we are well passed that stage). So I will wait, and see if the accounts link together after today.

Now tha'ts odd. I thought creating a ELIS account was compulsory to paying. Is the money withdraw from your account?

I would double check what you did. Exactly where did you pay the $165 at? Can you attach the link here.

Okay called NVC just now to inquire about the error I made with my birth city, birth state and country. Lord I put I was born in Houston Texas, Nigeria. LOL And its Georgetown South Carolina, USA heh

hello VJ family well my case completed in Feb 19 and still no interview yet . and my wife goona deliver the baby in May 18 .and we requst early interview and they refuse it soo what should i do .reagarding to Egypt embbasy time farme .its 4 to 6 month for interview .pls help my wife due date is very soon . i wanna be there for my baby .what should i do .??.

CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER US EMBASSY BOGOTA

09-08-2015 Express mailed my I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.

09-11-2015 Received NOA1 via email with a PD of 09-09-2015

09-19-2015 Received I-797C via snail mail. (NOA1)

10-21-2015 My wife came to visit me on a B1/B2. No problems at POE Miami :P

11-04-2015 Received NOA2 via email. (56 days after NOA1)

11-08-2015 My wife ends visit and returns to Colombia to wait for interview :(

11-09-2015 Received I-797 via snail mail. (NOA2)

STAGE 2: NVC

11-16-2015 NVC received our case,(12 days after NOA2).

12-07-2015 Emailed inquiry to NVC to inform them my email. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/contact.html

12-08-2015 NVC assigned case and invoice ID number,(34 days after NOA2) Case was assigned after 13:00 PM. I called at 12:30 then at 19:00 PM

12-08-2015 Completed Choice of Agent DS-261

12-09-2015 Received 2 emails with Welcome Letters for my wife and I, they were sent by ASKnvc@state.gov

12-09-2015 AOS bill became available and I paid it. (IN PROCESS)

12-12-2015 Mailed AOS and IV packages.

12-14-2015 Received via email IV bill from ASKnvc@state.gov and paid the IV fee.

12-14-2015 AOS fee updated to PAID

12-15-2015 USPS tracking shows AOS/IV packages were delivered to NVC. Waiting for a SCAN date.

12-16-2015 IV fee updated to PAID and completed DS-260

12-19-2015 Scan Date (45 days after NOA2). I called on 01-13-16 and I was told my scan date is 12-15-15????

01-26-2016 Case complete. (83 days after NOA2)

01-29-2016 Called NVC, I was informed my CO Interview will be on 03-01-2016 at 08:00.

02-02-2016 Received Interview Letter (P4) via email.

02-09-2016 Package picked-up by DHL at 15:29 Waybill 5992952011. CEAC status "IN TRANSIT"

STAGE 3: US Embassy Bogota

02-11-2016 US Embassy Bogota received my package at 10:39.

02-12-2016 CEAC Visa Status changed from "IN TRANSIT" to "READY"

02-24-2016 Lab exams at the clinic and Bio-metrics at the CAS center.

02-25-2016 Medical Exams.

03-01-2016 Interview Date (175 days after I mailed I-130) VISA APPROVED. CEAC status changed to AP

03-02-2016 Paid Immigrant Visa Fee via ELIS account. CEAC status changed to ISSUED

03-03-2016 US Embassy Bogota sends Passport and Visa package via DHL Waybill 2900131780 to Cali.

03-04-2016 My wife picked up at DHL sealed approved IV package and her passport with a stamped I-551 IV Category CR1.

Frankjavir, when i get to the section where i would put the date and time its army time and i dont see the time i was told. Am so sad i waited such a long time for this !!! I really appreciate your help !

Than click on the hour before your time. If you were given 1300 pick 1200. You need to get registered. Really doesn't matter the time you select just select something.

No they had Case Complete since 9/27. Ethiopia is just very backlogged. Many of the countries in East Africa are dealing with the refugee issue and other countries are taking priority. It's a waiting game. Like Algeria (7 months and still waiting). Egypt taking 4 to 5 months for interview to be assigned.

Hey whats your CC date. Your timeline isn't updated and want to add you to spreadsheet.

I'm gonna cry if I Have to Wait 7 months at my husband's embassy for interview. It's a double edged sword, I understand refugees need help but it's fustrating for those who wait cause of it. It's kinda not fair in ways

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

3/11/15 interview email

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

since my interview hasn't been schduled, can I contact embassy to expedite my interview?

Nope because they don't have your case file. If you want to be considered for an expedite you have to go through NVC.

Ow mennn im so nervous i have my medical tomorrow it will all work out but still it takes so long it feels like time is standing still so now and then grrrr hope it all go's well tomorrow :)

April 17 2015 send I-130

April 22 2015 recieved I-130 vermont

april 28 2015 noa 1 in the mail

September 21 2015 transffered from vermont to california

October 05 2015 I-130 approved at california

october 09 2015 noa 2 in the mail

October 21 2015 case recieved at nvc

December 9 2015 all mail at nvc

January 16 2016 case completed at nvc

The Embassy finally gave us our new interview date! Wednesday, March 16th it is! :dancing:! Today is me and my hubby's birthday so that was a nice surprise!!

Im really excited but a little worried at the same time ... One of the requirements for the interview on the email we just received today was the petitioners original Birth Certificate .. I really thought they will not need it but now hubby needs to send me that .. *sigh* Can anyone please tell me what is the fastest international airmail delivery service???

Congrats!! And I'm glad to know they're scheduling interviews in mid-march :) cheered me up!

Can some plz explain why hasn't the Cairo embassy have any scheduled interviews for April??

Lets see, maybe they have not started yet or they have not gotten to April.

No one and i mean NO ONE in here can give that information, we can only look at what information that comes our way and give our best bet.

Ow mennn im so nervous i have my medical tomorrow it will all work out but still it takes so long it feels like time is standing still so now and then grrrr hope it all go's well tomorrow :)

Medical is nothing.

Fast in and out, just have your papers in order and it will be fine.
