So sorry. Unfortunately this is what happens when one is in AP it opens the door for them to look deeper. Really sorry dear.

All I can tell everyone get your 2015 financials in order. Please don't just assume because NVC accepted your documents all is well. Every embassy and every CO ask for different things. Some CO's may ask now in March for 2015 taxes. I have seen in the past embassies doing that.Y

Just have all your ducks in a row.

In this case, when someone hasn't file out yet his taxes for 2015, can we justify by showing only the 2015 W2 (I will of course have a new I-864 sign just in case).

But i have all my papers in order.

But they never asked and i didn't think about it.

So mailed them all my papers today, so i hope it will be done by end of week.

I think they will not mail me my passport before they have the papers for the packet.

If at an interview, They don't accept a sponsor, do they give you a chance to find another? Or is it an automatic deny?

I have a household of 3 and Me and my mom (combining income) have enough for 3. For some reason, the NVC put 4 HH members which we don't have enough for..so they said to find another sponsor. On the phone they said I could try again with my mom and I and just bring updated papers and explain to the interview its only 3 hh members. If they deny this, will we get another chance to find someone else??

February 4th- case complete.

February 24th- Interview scheduled for April 19th

First i get this:

attachicon.gifScreenshot_3.jpg

Then i get this in a email:

What the F is going on ?

I had the papers with me, but was never asked to give it to them...

So if you are asked to bring something, then the Embassy will not ask, you have to give them it your self...

I know how you feel, I remember you got what I call a non-intrusive check list regarding your AOS.

The CO focused on your civil documents and forgot to go further or overlooked your checklist and even though you knew about it you did not mentioned it to him.

This AOS issue is nothing knew they discovered while the AP was taking place, this AOS issue came from NVC and both parts failed to address it at the interview.

I am sorry this became a hard lesson for you but you gracefully shared it for others to learn from it.

Pople, if you have been flagged with an AOS checklist to be resolved at the interview, do not keep your mouth shut if the CO does not ask for it, be proactive and mention it to him so everything is cleared and settled at the interview. It will cost you time and money, particularly if you do not live in the same city where the embassy is located because you may be required to come back or at least mail what ever documentation is pending.

does anyone know if NVC has been scheduling any interview lately??

Interviews are typically only scheduled during the last week of each month through the first week of the following month. There are occassions where there are interviews scheduled prior to then but more often than not it is due an expedited case.....

The link below shows the VJ members and their countries with CC dates, notification dates and interview dates (where applicable). Remember there are a view denpendencies with scheduling...every country may not process the same (depending on case load, available slots etc.)

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/587554-case-complete-to-interview-april-2016/page-26#entry8044594

And it's key to remember that this spreadsheet is a representation (a fraction) of those awaiting an interview. I believe dwheels76 mentioned that when you look at this to possibly add 50 more ppl to it that may waiting..(forgive me if I didn't quite her exact words).
