Hello! Hope everyone is holding strong. You guys are almost at the end of the road! Congrats to the new CCs and, all the April interviews.

So my husband is all set to travel next week. I'm so excited!! I'm worried about the fact he's not on a direct flight to NYC. He has a stop over in Miami, and then a connecting flight to LGA. Will that be a problem.

Shouldnt be a problem. Just make sure he brings his envelope on hand. And let him know he can ask anyone working in the airport for help with the connection. Hopefully his connection as plenty of time between one flight and the other.

Although I knew this...I just called the NVC to inquire about a possible appointment/interview date. Of course there hasn't been an interview date scheduled BUT I did ask if they were done scheduling and I was told yes and that they typically give 4 weeks notice prior to the scheduled date. She informed that they "only" schedule during the last week of the month (there are exceptions to this, i.e. expedited requests). She also stated that once an interview date is scheduled that I would immediately receive notification in my email inbox. 3 more weeks and scheduling will begin again.

Waiting 3 weeks is going to feel like waiting two months. I figured as much the slots were filled and that they finished scheduling for April. Crossing fingers that we are all in this upcoming batch. I ask for it in Jesus name.

IKR...but try not to think about it and focus on other things (as much as possible). The time will fly by. Focus on getting those 300 pictures in order to tell your love story????.

Waited for five months at uscis and was very patient but now it feels like this wait is going to kill me. I pray in the may batch.

I hope we all hear from them within 3 weeks. Let's stay strong a little while longer. Though we still have to wait on the actual interview after we receive the P4 email but I am sure we will be busy ensuring all paperwork and evidence is in place as well as booking tickets and so forth. I think our overall wait time between waiting on the interview email and the interview will roughly be about 7-8 weeks

Lol. Printing the pictures don't worry me as much as printing the actual conversation. I have to possibly get it printed at copycat or one of those other places but I don't want strangers working there reading personal conversations. I try to keep busy by organizing and figuring out what other stuff we may need.Trying to put pictures in order by dates of the visits so as to make the CO'S job alot easier and quicker during the interview process. Organizing receipts by dates and such. Trying not to organize everything too early otherwise I will have way too much time on my hands after we receive the P4 email lol

Ok, so my hubby's interview is the Dublin embassy on the 19th of April. Does that mean I need to bring an updated w2 from his sponsor? I don't think the sponsor has even filed this years taxes yet...

So! I finally got a minute to tell you VJer's about my interview, I don't know if it goes here, but if not please tell me and I move the post (i didn't find another place to do it).

First of all Good Luck and Quick journey to all of you who are still in the process. My husband and kids had their visas approved on Monday Feb. 29th, althoug we don't have them in hand yet.

The interview was very good and fast. We had our appointment set at 9am, we arrived at the Embassy at 8:30am (we have planned to arrive earlier but we have a hard time finding a place to park the car, finally we left it at the parking lot of "La Rural".) A girl who was at the entrance asked us about our case, when we said we where there for an immigrant visa she told us to go to Window 1, there they asked for a photo of each (only for the applicants, they didn't asked me anything as a USC), once we gave the photos we were asked to wait a for a moment, after 10 minutes they called us again, they gave us the famous green folder and said we could come in.

We went through Security and after that to get my husband fingerprints taken, we must said that, at every step they reminded us we didn't need to wait in any lines. In the waiting room we put our documents in the folder and when we were finishing an agent call us to Window 5. She asked for every document and after some doubt about my husband Birth Certificate (it was an original one, from 1977 and instead of saying Certificate it said Testimony) she told us the consul would evaluate if the document was valid. After she got all the documents she told us to go back to the waiting room and that the Consul will call us after a while.

After about 40 minutes, the Consul called us to the same Window 5, both the consul and the agent thank me for going to the interview with my family. The Consul was really friendly, she only asked us a few questions such as: When we met, If we got married in 2010, why we wanted to get back to the US, if my Husband was going to expand his business (from argentina) in the US. After that she said we were approved and gave us some papers with our A-numbers and information on the Immigrant Fee. All the interview was in Spanish, we were there for only 10 minutes (at the most). We were inside the Embassy for an hour and a half.

We are now waiting for the passports and envelopes, we have tickets to the US for April 2nd, our POE will be Miami.

Will get back to you with more info when we arrive.

Thanks a lot for all the information we were able to get from the forum members!

Congratulations. Great in-depth review. Be sure to post in your countries Interview reviews. :goofy:
