I was curious about some changes on the embassy website about what to bring to the interview. There was a change about bringing photocopies of documents to the interview. I was wondering if my fiance still needs to bring all of the packet I sent as well and how many copies. I'm thinking just to bring two copies of everything, but don't want to overdo it. Any advice?

Follow what the Embassy website states to what is required. Don't do more than what do will do.

You fiance does not need to bring a photocopy of the I-129F petition packet to the interview. They have the original one you sent. It's not on the list. Nor is your NOA2, or proof of relationship.

The website has changed but it still says bring your original documents and one photocopy to the interview. Same thing it has always said. However, they haven't actually wanted or kept those photocopies for at least a year now. You will be handed back your originals before you leave.

The photocopies would be of things you only have one of like your birth certificate, divorce decree, military records and want back. They used to keep the photocopy. Now they say "we don't need that". But the website still say it so take one photocopy anyway.

Things like tax returns or pay slips can be photocopies anyway.
