Given notice on our rented London home- how will it impact on application?

Hi all

We've had the I-130 approved and I'm waiting til my husband files back taxes with the IRS (he's been London-dwelling for many years) before I click 'send' on a completed DS260. Then I just need to arrange my medical and gather evidence etc and I'm ready for interview.

I'm wondering if a development will throw a spanner in the works- our landlords are selling up on the property we've been privately renting for 4 years. Obviously this is our legal address and so has been on all the paperwork so far.

We have 2 months to move. I imagine I can get to the stage of being ready to have my medical in that time, and my ACRO will still be in date, GP address still the same etc. But if it comes to having the actual visa interview after that date (a distinct possibility as my husband has a lot of paperwork to do!) what do I do about the new address? I've no idea where we'll be living at this stage- our whole family could be staying in a friend's spare room for a few months!

Would it do just to take a letter (or more) along with proof of new address to the interview? Or do I inform them as soon as I know where we'll be living/staying? Or should I hold off submitting the DS260 until I know where we will be and put that new address (even if it's a friend's couch!) on the form?

Any advice much appreciated!!

Wow, thank you! I assumed it would be a massive headache given how much evidence they want of current address, and that they wanted addresses going back so many years!
