Hello, my interview it is approaching and this site has been extremely helpful. I have been reading prior experiences in the consulate of my interview (Guayaquil), and one of the questions that they had is a little confusing. This is the question: Why are you deciding to marry in US if all of the fiancee family lives in Ecuador?. I would appreciate any advise regarding to answer this question. Thank you in advance.

There is no "right" answer to this question that anyone can give you. You just need to answer it with your own words, explaining why you decided to go with a K-1 insted of marrying and then applying for an IR-1 (spouse visa). Everyone has their own reasons why they make that decision -- you just need to tell them yours.
