I truly do not. Perhaps @dillygoose does.i believe she's K1 visa, too. Sometimes I wish we had done the K1 visa route so my parents could have seen us marry... Oh well. Can always do a ceremony later.

I would imagine your next step would be marrying and then applying to adjust your status.

Thanks for the good wishes! I'm happy you have your visa after 90 days.

I think we will be waiting about that amount of time too.

Yes that's correct. You need to marry then file for AOS adjustment of status.

You should also file for advance parole so you can travel and file for temporary employment authorization.

There's a guide on this website. Check it out.

Thanks Mariea! Yourcase should definitely be approved since you've been living together for that long.

The thing about AP is it requires further background checks and isn't really based on your relationship. The case officer will determine if your relationship is 'real' at the interview and based on the proof you submitted.

The reason I think AP is shorter for married couples than K1s is there are extra checks at the beginning that the K1 does later. If your documents are all in order and there's no big doubts from the case officer I don't think your AP will be that long.

But the only thing to be sure of is that there's no way to know for sure. The embassy won't be exactly forthcoming about the AP process either that's for sure.

Yeah, that I've gathered from the different posts I've read on here. I feel like a nervous wreck. I didn't expect our interview to be this soon. I was expecting it to take 4 months from our case complete on Feb 29 to find out our interview date... that seems to be the average wait time, but it was just 2 months for us. I just want to be able to take my "little mummy" home with me! ?
