Another miracle! Case update just came through stating his I-485 is approved ??? No interview.

So here is the details of my GC interview.Hopefully it will help someone who have interview soon. Our interview was on August 1st(2016) at 1pm. We(me & my wife) reached there at 12.53pm. showed

I got the most ignorant rep when I rang uscis, she was refusing to connect me to an iso took me asking her 6 times, politely but firmly (how I didn't curse at her was a miracle). Waiting on a call back now.

She repeated the mantra 60 days from approval to get the card and an Iso can't give me any further information. Her name was Joanne.

Owwww I had that too one time! Its horrible when you have to be kinda mean eventho you dont really want to but they force you... dont remember her name tho.. ended it with "*sigh* i will put you through but he wont tell you any more than i did!"

Joke was on her cuz he told me a LOT more ><

Met around 2011/2012 in a game (league of legends) super random, best friends ever since... grew closer as friends and desided in 2013 to try dating, flew over and we had a click =)

Did you receive a tracking number?

I didn't but i called and the rep said that i have to wait until the 10th to get the tracking info... idk... i hope i receive the card before that so it will be pointless unless they send it later not the day they said it was mailed.

I give up ??????

I had my job interview today, applied last friday because I got my greencard stamp so i can work yey!!!

I just got an sms that my EAD got updated... card was mailed to me (month and 4 days after approval)

But tier 2 officers (all i spoke) said i am not getting EAD no more...

I don't know man...>< Just laughing its too funny....

Anyways i hope my greencard also comes 1 month late :) n not even later...

Approved on the 28th of April, finally received update today that they're mailing the card to us! This took for ever...

02/01/2013: Transferred to the US with L1 visa

10/02/2015: Married to a USC :luv:

02/28/2016: Sent package I-140 and i-485 to Chicago Lockbox

03/01/2016: Package received by USCIS

03/05/2016: NOA received

03/14/2016: Checks went through

04/11/2016: Biometrics done in California

04/20/2016: Online status for i485 changed to 'Ready to schedule interview'

04/28/2016: Called USCIS to change the EAD Eligibility to c09 (made a mistake in my application)

05/02/2016: Received EAD/AP confirmation letter with c09 Eligibility :D

05/11/2016: Online status for I-765 and I-130 updated to 'Approved' as of 4/28/2016

06/08/2016: Online status for I-765 updated to 'Card was mailed' :dance:

06/10/2016: EAD/AP combo card received in the mail :whistle:

10/22/2016: GC Interview in San Jose & Approved on the spot! :jest::D:dance::yes::lol:

At last hubby's case tracker just got updated to Card was mailed!

i read a few also got theirs updated, mostly those who had the same fate with EADs getting messed up last week of April.

Not bad since it still is within timeframe, not yet past 90 days.

We were in the unlucky batch, last week of April. Ours was produced April 30. After several calls to USCIS and after having spoken to 3 Tier 2 agents, we fiinally received text/updates that the card has been mailed today. So it took roughly 48 days from the time it was produced to the card being mailed. Of course, we still don't have the card on hand.

19 days since your update isn't that bad, however our total days since we filed AOS was about 87 days only.

Hubby's Timeline:

January 19, 2013 - Sent I-130

January 23, 2013 - Priority DateJuly 2013 - Approved but ineligible to adjust

March 8, 2016-sent AOS packet ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

March 10 - lockbox received packet

March 17 - notifications received

March 21 - received hardcopies of NOAs

April 1 - received biometrics appointment

April 11 - Biometrics at Buena Park

May 6 - received hardcopy of I-131 approval dated May 2

May 11 - received texts/email - AP Approved, EAD card is being produced (ordered card production April 30)

May 27 - called USCIS tier 2 - service request to reproduce crooked card that was not sent

June 8 - received texts/email/update - EAD card being mailed

June 11 - received EAD/AP combo card

August 23 - Interview is scheduled for Sept. 28

Sept 28 - AOS approved

I had a good feeling when I woke up this morning. I do my daily walk to the mailbox and tada, my green card arrived! Woohooo!

Congratulations!!

3/8/16 Sent application to uscis

3/11/16 USCIS received applications

3/15/16 USCIS sent receipts

3/19/16 Got receipts in the mail

4/2/16 Got my bio appointment notice

4/11/16 Biometric appointment

8/19/16 interview has been scheduled

I think we have the same timeframe. My EAD was approved on the 28th of April. Yesterday they finally mailed the damned card to us! We didn't receive a tracking number yet,but at least it's getting somewhere.

For my green card I never got a tracking number. It just showed up! So you may never get a tracking number!
