After that it's usually the same time it took to get your noa1 in the mail. So probably this following week?

I didn't even get a noa for my EAD approval! Which is what I was expecting so I was pleasantly surprised when I I got an NOA for my travel document today along with the combo card in a separate envelope.

Try to keep positive thoughts going - I know how hard it is but that is what got me through the days. It'll come! Not fast enough, I know :(

Thank you so much! Yes! I'm about to fill out the paperworks required to get a SSN. Lets see how simple that process goes.. something tells me it won't be too simple lol. Do you have your SSN or experience with it?

I wrote something about the Ssn for you before, if I'm not mistaken.

It was simple and fast for me.

I got it a month after I got here and before I got married. Took the ssn5 form filled out, my passport, a copy of my i94 and my birth certificate + translation to the office. There was just one person in line. I handed everything to the officer but he only looked at the passport and i94. He printed out a paper for me with my address and telling me it would be mailed within 10 days.

I went there on a Monday and by Wednesday the following week I had the card with me.

In your case I'd take my marriage certificate as well, if you changed your name.

Yes, thank you for the positive thoughts! I'm trying to distract myself as much as possible. Honestly I shouldn't complain because I'm in graduate school (on an F1) so I DO have stuff to do, haha. It would be nice to work, too!

I'm sure you're right! I think we discussed it earlier in regards to processing times, but not so far as documents :) Thank you though, very helpful! I went on their website and got the ssn5 filled. I believe I need to take everything you listed including EAD. I have not changed my name yet - I will be doing that when we have our 'wedding' in England with our families in 2017 :)

UPDATE... Spoke to a tier 2 at USCIS... no date scheduled for GC interview yet... but was told that EAD card was physically actually really genuinely MADE yesterday - and should be with me any day now.

YAY!!!

Today is 30 days from approval of application... and noting that the email from USCIS says "You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application." I do believe it is time to stalk the mailman with even greater fervour and intensity.

(FYI - took 3 hours for USCIS to call back)

We are still

Waiting for EAD since card production on the 21st of May, called couple of times, told different things, and was also told that we should add another 30 days of wait from the production date!! (What!!! That's beyond the 90 days processing time) how long did you get your card from the production date change online?
