Hi! I did biometrics in Hartford and it was pretty fast -- probably 30 minutes total. I did go about 20 minutes before my scheduled time, and that was smart because it was half empty when I got there. 20 minutes later (at exactly my appointment time), the place suddenly got really crowded. I was already on the way out, luckily. So get there early! And best of luck with the rest of the process... I'll keep you posted on my updates as they come.

You made me so happy you have no idea. I was really worried thinking biometrics would be in the Lawrence field office, if it's in Hartford my life will be so much easier. Will do as you said, getting there early so I can get in and done quicker.

Crossing my fingers for you!

You are right, I just called and says Lee Summit, MO for mine as well - March 25th Fingerprint Fee - is that where you are too?

Our fingerprint fee received notice says March 9th. Nothing since then.

75 days since they received your application as stated on their website aka case tracker.

I am at 65 days. I just called this afternoon and they told me to wait for 10 more days.

Thanks very much. Just checked - I am at 79 days. I'll give them a tinkle tomorrow.

The mail truck is outside my house... today is day 30 since my EAD was produced. If the mail person doesn't deliver my card today then I'll be on the phone with USCIS. My green card interview is a week from today...

Good morning ! I have a quick question. for I 485 status still says that as April 13th my case is ready to be scheduled for interview . Do you know by any chance how long takes to get the appointment letter for the interview in the mail?

After being at You card is being produced our status on the USCIS website changed to "We mailed your new card" and then to "My card was delivered to me by the Post Office" on the day that it showed up in our mailbox. Has yours only said that it is being produced? Or has it changed to being mailed out yet?

Nope, but I was kind of hoping the teacher was broken and it would magically appear in my mailbox! Haha. I talked to a officer today who says it hasn't been mailed yet and he submitted a case inquiry

Wise words indeed.

Looks like we are on a similar timeframe.

I chilled long enough now.

I am currently awaiting my callback from a tier 2 supervisor.

How did you get through to a tier 2? I might have to call next week and I'm not sure how to go about it. Should I wait for a person to get on the phone, and then ask for a tier 2 right away? Thanks!

UPDATE... Spoke to a tier 2 at USCIS... no date scheduled for GC interview yet... but was told that EAD card was physically actually really genuinely MADE yesterday - and should be with me any day now.

YAY!!!

Today is 30 days from approval of application... and noting that the email from USCIS says "You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application." I do believe it is time to stalk the mailman with even greater fervour and intensity.

(FYI - took 3 hours for USCIS to call back)
