EAD was approved (and changed to new card being produced) April 26th and still no card or fancy green paper. I'm really stressing about it!

I have my dream job interview today too! My fingers are crossed that when I come home from my interview the card will magically be in my mailbox...

Soooo....

After receiving the EAD/AP combo card on Saturday without any update to online, the status updated on USCIS' website by Sunday morning to "CARD WAS MAILED TO ME" for the I-131 case number.

Yesterday (Monday) my wife texted me while I was at work to inform me that the physical Approval Notice came in the mail.

We had a nice conversation last night about travel plans and work opportunities. She already has a couple of leads for jobs she got from family and friends here. I also informed her about the interview for the I-485. I told her that she can travel and work but we have to keep an eye out and prepare for n interview at any given date. It could be short notice.

So this morning I casually checked the status of all the cases before I was to leave for work and low and behold the I-485 status online has changed to "CASE WAS APPROVED".

I'm hoping this means there is no interview and the actual green card will arrive soon.

Regardless, things are moving in the right direction.

Congrats to all who have received theirs. Good luck to everyone and please remain patient. Yours will come soon.

All of you that received update on Ead approval please was it on ur case status u got the notification or u got a mail on ur mailbox??

My was got updated online for bothe ead and ap but the date of approval was last week. When I got home the approval notice for app was in the mail, so I'm waiting patiently for the rest sometime this week in the mail

Huge congrats to everyone on the recent updates! @NuestraUnion, that is amazing news! I think our case will automatically go to interview because I am adjusting from a work visa (E3) as opposed to a K1. From what I gather only K1s can get an interview waiver.

We have the same field office. Honestly hope that the website is not accurate...guess that big city as DC has ton of applications to process and it can take a while :(

Yeah I have heard that DC is quite a busy field office... Are you adjusting from a K1 or another type of visa? I have heard that can make a difference as well. Anyway, let's keep each other posted re any developments! :)

Does this mean it has been mailed already? I'm so excited! Now just hoping the green card comes soon with no interview!! I am adjusting from a K1.

It does not mean it has been mailed... some of us have been waiting quite a while for cards, following approval - HOWEVER... some people have received their cards within 1 week of approval. Here's hoping yours is a superquick one! Best of luck.

we received the same update, new card being produced on April 30 and we haven't received the card yet.

Hubby's Timeline:

January 19, 2013 - Sent I-130

January 23, 2013 - Priority DateJuly 2013 - Approved but ineligible to adjust

March 8, 2016-sent AOS packet ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

March 10 - lockbox received packet

March 17 - notifications received

March 21 - received hardcopies of NOAs

April 1 - received biometrics appointment

April 11 - Biometrics at Buena Park

May 6 - received hardcopy of I-131 approval dated May 2

May 11 - received texts/email - AP Approved, EAD card is being produced (ordered card production April 30)

May 27 - called USCIS tier 2 - service request to reproduce crooked card that was not sent

June 8 - received texts/email/update - EAD card being mailed

June 11 - received EAD/AP combo card

August 23 - Interview is scheduled for Sept. 28

Sept 28 - AOS approved
