Hubby's card was also ordered for production April 30, and we still have not received it. I guess the machine went bad (or the guy making the cards fell asleep) during that batch, because some who got approved early May got their cards already.

I have a vision in my head of someone calling the guy's name... him turning around in his chair... his elbow just clipping a pile of (OUR) approved applications... and them all sliding off the desk into the trashcan... never to be seen again...

Got approved on the April 28th. Online tracker just says that it's approved, not even sent for production :(

Patience.... :hehe:

Ah! Never fear... My status said "Card sent for production" (or something like that) for a matter of hours ONLY. It then changed to "Approved" which is what it has said ever since. So yours may well have done the same.

Hang in there, I only just received my approval notices (on fancy green paper oooooohhh)

I don't expect to see anything until next week. Frustrating that you have the approval but need the physical card to actually do anything!

At least you don't sound like you're "All shook up"..... Uh huh huh thank you very much...

Yep - fancy green paper here too - I was sooooo excited when the envelopes arrived... weeks ago... only to find they don't let me work without waiting for the mythical, lesser-spotted, EAD card. And thanks very much for the Elvis reference - 3 months since we got married - it was a great day!! - And now 5 months since I last worked - but true... we are not rattled (rocked, or even rolled) - we are smiling. We are together. We are taking plenty of mindful breaths. Knowing it will all happen when it happens. And now... once more... tis time I visited the mailbox.

Hello guys,

You want another method to obsess over your card whereabouts? haha..i found in another immigration website (***removed*** c/o user jl18) a method to check USPS if there is an intending mail addressed to you if it has a tracking number. Here, I did it too and of course there was no mail scheduled for me.

Here:

1. Visit USPS.COM

2. Create an account/register

3. Log in to your new account.

4. Go to "Track and Manage"

5. go to "Preferences"

This area includes the following : Update your notification preferences to have MyUsps inform you of tracking information via email and/or text message.

6. Sign up for email/text updates of upcoming shipments.

(Once you do that you will be notified when someone is trying to ship something to your address or when a shipping label is created with your address on it.

haha there try it!!

Reporting in for the first time. Simultaneous 130/485/765/131 from H-1B.

Date received: 3/14.

Biometrics 1: 4/12.

Biometrics 2 (FBI didn't accept first fingerprints): 5/10.

No EAD approval yet. Getting a bit antsy as everyone with a filing date similar to ours seem to have mostly gotten their approvals already. Hoping the 2nd biometrics hasn't slowed down the whole affair.

Add us to the list of receiving an EAD/AP card prior to any update on the USCIS website. Card came in the mail today and the status on the website is still saying "CASE WAS RECEIVED" with the March date.

I'm assuming the EAD/AP was approved a week ago. I just put the approved date and card received date as the same until the status update on the website changes to current info.

Yupppppp. That's my paperwork over there under the water cooler. I feel like rose in titanic silently screaming for help while the life boats pass on by e wry time I try to ask tier 1 or 2 about it.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I actually just called and i found the number on your timeline, so thank you for posting that - very helpful. I managed to get through to an actual person after pressing several numbers eventually I just selected the option to report a problem and a very helpful gentleman was on the other end of the line. He assured me that I should be hearing from them shortly, but I will certainly hear from them in June if not May. He said nothing was listed for an RFE on my account anyway. So fingers crossed.

No RFE's or anything in the mail - I have been checking so much that I even go on Sunday's and then realise it's Sunday :(

I'm sure its the same for everyone else, but I am starting to go coo coo waiting for this employment card! I have started fostering animals to help pass the time - I'd also like to make a point to everyone on here ( SO NOT VISA RELATED ) BUT if you are looking to do something with your time, it is currently kitten season and MANY shelters will be looking for fosters otherwise unfortunately many will be euthanized. Just thought I'd let everyone know that it's an option, just in case!

We have practically the same timeline and we haven't received any additional information either. When I check the status online, it still says "fingerprint fee received." His bio appointment was April 21st. My husband is so bored and ready to work, and lord knows we could use the extra income. I will give them a call Monday.

Hats off to you for fostering and encouraging others to do so as well! That is such a wonderful idea to help fill the time and take your mind off of things.
