Now you just need to hope they print and issue your GC in good time! Some people seem to be having a nightmare just getting the physical card even after receiving the approval weeks ago.

I'm sure you will have yours in double quick time!

Well... the tier 2 officer said that if i dont get a tracking number online i should call back and ask for tier 2 in a week for the tracking number...

The cards i see people have troubles with (including myself before the news of today) is the EAD to arrive after approval (60 days max for them to get u that card...wich is crazy long...)

Especially the people with approvals from end april...thats just plain sad

WOW. Just WOW....

So I had a feeling today, went to the mailbox but nothing. My husband had a feeling 2 days ago, which is funny because...

I called USCIS and asked for a tier 2 officer, the girl first didn't want to put me through because she told me everything they knew, a tier 2 wouldn't be able to tell me anything more and she helped me out enough.

I insisted to be put through to a tier 2 officer, I was pretty direct but I really didn't want to hear what I already know (my field office was at september files so I would have to wait for months for my greencard to be approved)

What I wanted to know was, where the application was at, expecting RFE, getting a waiver, getting send to a field office. I just wanted to know where I was at.

Got transfered, got called back and so I asked the tier 2 officer this question.

A long waiting later in which I expected they lost my file and things were going down.... He told me I had 3 APPROVED cases, the 765, 131 AND 485.

So my greencard got approved, 2 days ago. No updates online and I can expect the approval notice in the mail anytime now, followed by the greencard in 1-2 weeks.

I cannot believe it, I asked the officer so many times if he was SURE about it. He was surprised himself since it has only been 2 months!

I am crying, jumping, running, the stress leaving my body I feel like I am flying!

So don't worry too much about the system not updating, apparently it just doesn't update!

Congratulations! :)

Could you tell me what is tier 2 officer? Thank you

When you call the uscis you will first get the robotvoice...

But you can take my call for example, she didnt want to transfer me at first, giving me the information that i would know more in 6 months (according to field office processing time, which i already knew since its on their website)

Sometimes you have to be a bit pushy and insist on getting to talk to a tier 2 officer (the costumer service rep might say that "they dont have any more information than i do" -> bs, dont believe it)

So the tier 2 officer which you get transferred to (expect long waiting times! Mostly with callbacks, and they will call you back)

They can dig deeper into the system and provide you more information, in case your status didn't update, uscis made an error, you noticed you made a mistake somewere, etc etc

As example of my story again, he actually saw in the system that my AOS was approved 2 days ago, and gave me some more information as well...

I hope that explains it a bit :) they can just dig a bit deeper and see more about your case

Edit: the reason why i wanted to talk to a tier 2 was simply to know what to expect timeline wise since the website never updates for me... and I want to join the Navy and marry right after training... it is already hard to plan a wedding let alone when you dont know a possible timeframe... so with that reason the tier 2 officer was very helpful and kind :)

Still no updates, here - not since the AP approval and notice of name update on the EAD (still not sure what that could be about) in April. Seems we may need to call to get info on the EAD and AOS. She did receive a paper AP approval a few days after the electronic notification, there's just been, since.

Thank you so much! I don't even see my case online so I'm planing to call them after a month if nothing happened

Same thing happened to my I-765 EAD, it wasn't online. I called them and they said it could take up to 45 days to show online. I was finally able to see it online a week after my biometrics appointment which was about 43 days after it was received.

Now, I've been waiting 78 days for my EAD approval and I think that's what slowed down the process for me :(

Good morning everyone!

I haven't post here yet, but I have been following this thread for a while and decided to just to say hi and tell you guys about the little nightmare I have been though lol and since my noa 1 date is March 1st, I consider myself a march filer.

I am adjusting status from k1 visa and sent my package with my daughter applications as well.

Here is my timeline:

Feb 12: I765,I131 and I485 sent

Feb 29th: Noa 1 for I131 (did not get a receipt number for EAP, but an agent from uscis told me to wait 30 days and I will get it)

March 1: Noa 1 for I485

March 23: Biometrics appointment.

March 28: Called uscis asking for my EAP receipt number they told me to wait, since the 30 days were "business days" :clock:

April 22: AP and EAD approved for my daughter, nothing for me, called uscis and to my surprise they said my EAP form "got lost" and have to re send it again.

April 23: AP approved (yes, on saturday!)

April 25: Noa 1 for I765

April 29: Notification sent by my local office (Memphis TN) about my case being transferred to Tucson AZ.

May 2: AP letter received.

May 9: Another biometrics appointment (code 2) for EAD for May 23.

May 19: Called uscis to ask about my I485 and the officer said it was transfered to "speed" my process and the Tucson office is now working in Sep-Oct cases and asked me to wait until November-December

That's all for now guys, let's be patient and pray.

Anna

Hi Guys,

This question for anyone who got approved for their expedited request for EAD.

These status are all under Case History on the i-765

on 04/22 asking for evidence for my pending job offer

on 05/10 - Faxed job offer back to them (delay was there because there was an RFE that i was also dealing with also and wanted to send that before)

on 05/11 - My expedite request was again assigned to an officer

on -05/19 it says they have sent a response to my request and it has been completed.

Does that mean its been rejected? or does it mean it mean it has been approved?

I am super stressed as my job is starting June 2nd and I got an email today from my employer asking what my status is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I had something similar. My EAD was approved on May 6, but it didn't show up in the system until May 11 that it was approved. I would suggest talk to Tier two officer, he/she might be able to see whether or not it was approved.

Even though my card was approved on May 9, I still don't have a physical card in hand and it's been in production for the past week or so. I am afraid I won't get it until June 8, when I am supposed to start my new job. :( Hope your case goes faster!
