Quick question about RFEs, although I don't know if anyone will have a definite answer: is there a point in this process where I can rest assured that I'm not getting an RFE? Once EAD/AP is approved, does that mean everything is good to go and they have all the info they need? I'll be traveling (domestically) in the next month and I'm nervous about getting an RFE while I'm in another state! My husband will keep a close eye on the mail, of course, but I'm still paranoid........

When the green card is in hand, you're for sure not getting any RFE. Til then, even at or after the interview it can happen.

Your interview could be a few months (the ead would hopefully come in the wait) away or a few weeks. Could very well skip an ead if it moves that fast.

Just got a notification from the online tracker saying case was updated, now my EAD says new card was ordered on 4th May. It's a little strangely worded, but I'm guessing EAD was approved and card is now in production.

AP still did not update, even though I received the approval notice in the mail. EAD seems to have been approved before AP, and still haven't received anything about that lol... It's a strange system!

Another miracle! Case update just came through stating his I-485 is approved ??? No interview.

congrats!! our miracle only went as far as the EAD card being produced haha!!

but indeed this day has become the day for updates, and us March filers are being approved at a fast rate. Hubby is exactly 2 months today from filing AOS, 1 month after his biometrics.
