Ye, I might be super lucky living across the post office =) I have my mail in the mailbox before I even wake up haha.

So my morning routine is getting dissapointed. To be honest, I rather have it in the evening, so my day never gets ruined by an empty mailbox, instead I will be wondering and hoping all day

Met around 2011/2012 in a game (league of legends) super random, best friends ever since... grew closer as friends and desided in 2013 to try dating, flew over and we had a click =)

Proposed in Oktober 2014

12/2014 - File K1

12/2015 - Receive K1 (texas backlog drama, took a year!)

12/26/15 - P.O.E. Boston

01/20/16 - Marriage =)

(Day 000) 03/10/16 - Filed AOS (with EAD and AP)

(Day 001) 03/14/16 - Received EAD+AP

(Day 004) 03/18/16 - Received AOS

(Day 005) 03/19/16 - NOA1 SMS & Email x3

(Day 009) 03/23/16 - NOA1 Hardcopy x3

(Day 016) 03/30/16 - Biometrics letter received

(Day 030) 04/13/16 - Biometrics done (very quiet in Providence (RI) just one other family and me)

(Day 051) 05/04/16 - Approval EAD & AP

(Day 055) 05/08/16 - NOA2 EAD & AP in the mail and online changed to approved

(Day 063) 05/16/16 - Approval AOS

(Day 065) 05/18/16 - Called tier 2 officer to ask where my AOS is at (RFE, Waiver, Interview etc, what to expect) got as answer it's approved...

(Day 067) 05/20/16 - NOA2 AOS Hardcopy and online status change

I checked my case on USCIS website and it still says request for evidence was mailed and when I scrolled down I saw next step which says we would review ur response to our request and send u a mail..Does this means they are already working on it or is just a standard message to everyone who has rfe.

If your tracking shows it arrived, it's there. I saw on another forum that it's on the individual officer for your case to scan in and update the case tracker for RFE response. If it's busy or behind it could go from RFE sent to approved without ever showing response review for some folks. It's more important to get work done than break for updating

Super annoying because I want step by step updates :(

Quick question about RFEs, although I don't know if anyone will have a definite answer: is there a point in this process where I can rest assured that I'm not getting an RFE? Once EAD/AP is approved, does that mean everything is good to go and they have all the info they need? I'll be traveling (domestically) in the next month and I'm nervous about getting an RFE while I'm in another state! My husband will keep a close eye on the mail, of course, but I'm still paranoid........

Standard message as mine is saying the same thing, just have to wait for an indication they received the RFE and are working on it.

Just waiting for ANYTHING at this point... online tracker hasn't updated since March 22.

Good point about the junk mail! And OMG yes we should all send each other mail, just to keep our spirits up and to make those trips to the mailbox a bit more productive! haha

Yes I'm sure the neighbours see my daily trudge to the mailbox only to walk back empty handed on the non junk mail days! I might start doing a dance routine for them to keep them entertained! Haha

Sharing my process here for concurrent filing i-140 and i-485:

09/10: Married to a USC

02/28: Sent package I-140 and i-485 to Chicago Lockbox

03/01: Package received by USCIS

03/05: NOA received

03/14: Checks went through

04/11: Biometrics done in California

04/20: Online status for i485 changed to 'Ready to schedule interview'

04/28: Called USCIS to change the EAD Eligibility to c09 (made a mistake in my application)

05/02: Received EAD/AP confirmation letter

And now we play the waiting game :)

Cool thanks, you can keep this permanently in your message replies for all to see if you go to the top right abd go to my settings, left hand side is signature tab, cut and paste this info in there. Some helpful people told me about that not long ago. Edited by gpiper

Awesome, thank you!

No problem, I see on the timeline you called them about correcting an error on c09 eligibility. Is that all you had to do? Call? No resubmitting of form? Done in triplicate? Signed in blood?

Seemed to have given you a result though.. EAD Approval.... Not bad!

I'm seeing a few people here and a few more on other forums who are getting pretty early approvals on the EAD, so I'm ok with a little wishful thinking :D

Indeed! I indeed had filed under the wrong eligibility, only noticed it a few weeks later. Called them up, got a call back from tier 2 officer. Very friendly people, they said the would do what they could. 4 days later i got an approval with the corrected eligibility. No hassles!

Interesting, i just received online updates as well today!
