Hello!

I just received my NOA1 text and email and the hard copy ( Form I-797) should be here in 7-10 days. But should I be getting two more cases numbers to track my AOS, EAD, and AP separately? How do I know which case # is for AOS and the EAD/AP?

  • Hard copies of NOA received 3/20/16
  • Early walk in Biometrics at Holtsville, NY 4/11/16
  • Ead/AP approved 4/28/16...received 6/10/16
  • Interview date 12/20/16 at Holtsville, NY... initially denied but approved later same day.
  • Text received that green card was mailed.

You should get different case numbers. They'll be in the hard copies

We got a separate email for each case number it took around half an hour to get all of them.

AOS (Pending)
Mailed: 3/2/2016
USPS Delivery: 3/5/2016
NOA1 Emails/Texts: 3/10/2016
NOA1 Letters: 3/14/2016 (Online Status updates started: 3/16/2016, Receipt date listed: 3/7/2016)
Bio Apt Notice: 3/26/2016
Bio Apt: 4/8/2016 (Week early attempt was turned away, Same day early attempt successful)
EAD/AP Approval (Email&Text): 4/22/2016
EAD/AP Card Received: 4/29/2016

Interview Notice: 12/14/2016 

Interview Date: 1/20/2017 (Approved!!)

New card Ordered and Case Approved Online Update: 1/31/2017

Hello!

I feel so relieved to have a case number finally!

When you check each case number on USCIS.gov the status will let you know which number goes with which application. Two of mine were process 2/19 and the one was processed 2/29 but I received the confirmation email/texts on the same day, 3/1.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Are you including the "MSC" part as well? I checked mine right after I received the email/text and it had been updated. Based on your timeline they should have that updated for you. I just say that because soon you will receive a Biometrics appointment and that number being active will be important.

I will. However, it looks like I don't need to call...just needed an extra scoop of patience. got my e NOA on Mar 8 and today is the 14th. That's 4 business days. So I would say give it a few more business days
