hubby got woken up by a text at 5 AM from case tracker, he got so excited only to find out the update is just the same "case is accepted" and "fingerprint fee accepted". Gee,it has been like that for 2 weeks now ever since we signed up for case tracker, and we got an update like that text already 2 weeks ago.

Told him hey maybe it's a sign you're gonna get great news tomorrow haha :

January 19, 2013 - Sent I-130

January 23, 2013 - Priority DateJuly 2013 - Approved but ineligible to adjust

March 8, 2016-sent AOS packet ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

March 10 - lockbox received packet

March 17 - notifications received

March 21 - received hardcopies of NOAs

April 1 - received biometrics appointment

April 11 - Biometrics at Buena Park

May 6 - received hardcopy of I-131 approval dated May 2

May 11 - received texts/email - AP Approved, EAD card is being produced (ordered card production April 30)

May 27 - called USCIS tier 2 - service request to reproduce crooked card that was not sent

June 8 - received texts/email/update - EAD card being mailed

June 11 - received EAD/AP combo card

August 23 - Interview is scheduled for Sept. 28

Sept 28 - AOS approved

Same, you sure feel tricked with false updates...

I have 2 alerts tho, uscis account and the app...

Next to that i keep checking the uscis website (never kno when the alerts send!)

And the mailbox (maybe they forget to update the status? Haha)

And this forum with the timelines to see others...

Am i a bit paranoia? Maybe....

Will it make the case go faster? Nope

Will it give me more stress? Definately

I just don't know how to chill... its getting out of hand ><

But the walls are closing in on me!

I'm finding the whole electronic notification to be unreliable based upon recent events.

The initial notifications sure enough we received texts and emails about a week after submission, but a recent RFE I just happened to look at my USCIS account earlier in the week and my status had been updated a couple of days previously!

The text came a day after I had already found out (so 3 days late) and to add to that I didn't receive an email at all.

No point in waiting for these notices... A check on your account first thing in the morning and once at night should probably do me!

Oh by the way, being paranoid? You are if you answer your own questions!?

Green card arrived in the mail today. PtL! No lawyers, no RFEs and no interviews . A great way to celebrate my bday today

I hope this encourages you all to keep your chins up. USCIS will get to you too

Congratulations...and Happy Birthday I'm sure the GC news is like a cherry on the cake...Well thanks for the help I see you helping everybody around here and that is really nice the goodwill got your GC so fast I am sure...Keep it up and good luck with everything....and it helps people like me who didnt use lawyers to be more positive....

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

12th May'2016- Biometric Appointment Schedule

24th May'2016- Received RFE for Form I864( Tax Returns, Pay Stubs)(day 55)

26th May'2016- Sent out the evidence for RFE (day 57)

1st June'2016- Received notification that the RFE package was received. Case status website updated (day 56)

2nd June'2016- Put in a request for Change in Address for all the 4 applications. Received Confirmation mail the same day(day 57)

6th June'2016- Address change request was completed.(day 61)

11th June'2016- Letter of Address change confirmation was received. (day 66)

23rd June'2016- Called USCIS asked to spoke a Tier 2 officer was called back on the third attempt after 8 hours and spoke about confirmation of address change. (day 78)

24th June'2016- Status change for EAD only "New Card is being produced" (day 79)

29th June'2016- Card was mailed to me at the mentioned date(day 84)

2nd July'2016- Card received in mail (day 87)

9th August'2016- Interview scheduled for September 13th(day 125)

16th August'2016- Interview cancelled.(day 132)

13th September'2016- Attended the interview and was told my file wasn't available at the local office. (Day 163 )

29th October'2016- Rescheduled the interview for December 1st. (Day 209)

1st December'2016- Judgement Day RELOADED!(Day241)

2nd December'2016- New card is being produced!(Day 242)

6th December'2016- STATUS CHANGED TO NEW CARD HAS BEEN MAILED. (Day 246)

8th December'2016- Received USPS tracking code to track my GC. Scheduled for delivery on 14th December'16.

We got a letter for biometrics does that come ev before the NO1??

Cool! The NOA1 doesn't serve any purpose other than to confirm what the electronic notifications do, which is "hey we got your file. Wait until we send you something else"

Congratulations!!! I hope you had an amazing double celebration and now you should enjoy the anxiety-free life :)

For those who are really anxious, I have found that focusing on job hunting has helped me get my mind out of this USCIS waiting game. I highly recommend workshops at American Job Centers (they are all across the country), they are free, helped me adjust to the American job market, made me feel more confident to get my dream job, and overall it felt good to dress professionally and have appointments outside of home/gym/grocery shopping routine.

I have been interviewing and the whole hiring process take so long, by the time I get an offer, my EAD will be here already.

I'm trying to do the same and it's definitely helping. The problematic part though is most of the jobs where you have to apply online require you to answer the question "Are you authorized to work for any employer in the US?" and when I say no to that, I'm pretty sure my application just goes to the trash bin :'( I hope many of us will hear something this week, and that it will be good news! Congrats to everyone who got their GC or EAD!

Congratulations!!! I hope you had an amazing double celebration and now you should enjoy the anxiety-free life :)

Still no updates for me too :( I feel like if I haven't heard anything from USCIS in the morning, then probably nothing will show up during the day.....

I've started volunteering today at a preschool. I can only recommend it to anyone still waiting to not go crazy LOL

I got rfe just because they wanted my spouse to sign a document relating to her been in the army,Like seriously.Have been waiting since April 11th just to get the hard copy yesterday.Am turning it in tomorrow and I just hope it doesn't slow my ead proceeding.

If it was for initial evidence yes, it will slow things down some is what I heard.

**Adjusting from initial Q1/changed to B1 then overstay, termination of removal proceedings**

First met: Totally random by asking for directions, June 2014 while on vacation at Disney World (L)

Engaged: Aug. 21, 2014

Married: Dec. 1, 2014

ICE phone contact: sometime in early Dec. 2014- Co-operated, retained attorney who advised the same.

Filed stand alone i-130: January 2015 (VSC)

ICE home visit, schedule time to go to DHS office and NTA issued, date TBD, was not detained and released on own recognizance within an hour: January, 2015.

NOA1: Feb. 20, 2015.

Transfer to CSC to balance workloads: August 2015

1)First Master Calendar Hearing: Sept. 9, 2015-Continued based on pending i-130, new court date in 6mo.

Wow congrats. Hopefully something like that happens with me 2. I can not wait anymore to start a job, specially as i am done with my school as well.

Update: got an RFE in mail today regarding my joint sponsor. It will be really nice if someone can answer some questions for me.

1. It says my joint sponsor don't meet the requirements of 125%, so i am thinking to add/submit a different joint sponsor. In that case on the i864 form do my new sponsor need to select the himself as the only joint sponsor or second joint sponsor, As i am not sending the required documents they asked for my previous joint sponsor.

March 17th, 2016: Filled i130, i485, i765

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

My attorney told me that the majority of her AOS cases are taking between 4 to 5 months. Such a long wait. ?

3/8/16 Sent application to uscis

3/11/16 USCIS received applications

3/15/16 USCIS sent receipts

3/19/16 Got receipts in the mail

4/2/16 Got my bio appointment notice

4/11/16 Biometric appointment

8/19/16 interview has been scheduled
