Got Noa1 hard copies yesterday. But my receipt number(Starting from MSC) is still invalid when I check my status at USCIS website. I hope I can check my status online soon!

We received a hard copy Notice of Action (I-797C) today with an appointment for his biometrics! I didn't think it would happen this fast, it's scheduled for 3/23.

Didn't anyone else receive a hard copy NOA1 with an appointment? I thought those came separately.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Hello everyone! So happy to have another thread to follow through this new stage! ☺️ We are currently on our honeymoon, but when we return I'd like to finish all the paperwork I've already started. I was just wondering if we must send a copy of my husbands birth certificate, as I haven't read in the instructions that it's necessary? He didn't bring it, so I want to know if we must go through the trouble of getting it now ? ... thank you, and good luck to all!!

What form requests the USC birth certificate for AOS? I plan on sending our packet today, but I hadn't read in any of the instructions that was needed- only my passport bio page for the financial form.

Congratulations! And yes you need his birth certificate and yours. If either are not in English you need a translated copy as well. Good luck!

Did you apply for AP? In the instructions if states will not be given for recreational (basically) trips. So, when you fill out the supplemental page describing the reason for your trip and dates- you can't just put "vacation". I find this package so much more overwhelming than the I-129.

Our check is "pending" so I guess we're close to getting our NOA1!
