Hey all just got a notification that the "green card is being produced"! Yay! PTL!

Great news. Congrats, it was pretty quick.

March 17th, 2016: Filled i130, i485, i765

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

Didn't receive NOA hard copy receipts in mail(not a problem,if you receive text or email)

April 8th,2016: received bio metrics for i-485 and i-765

April 14th,2016: Early walk in for bio-metrics Appointment (actual date was 18th april)

May 2nd, 2016: Received RFE for Joint Sponsor

May24th, 2016: Sent RFE back to USCIS

May 27th,2016: RFE received by USCIS

June 3rd, 2016: Request to Expedite EAD

June 6th,2016: EAD Approved

June 15th,2016: EAD received in mail

June 15th, 2016: Case status changed for i-485( case is ready to schedule to schedule for a interview)

June 23rd, 2016: Interview is scheduled for August 1st,2016.

August 1st, 2016: Got approved on GC interview

Auugust 1st 2016: case status changed for i-485 (case approved & we send you card to production)

August 4th, 2016: status changed "Card mailed to me"

oh thanks! I didn't have to re-send anything though. BUT we did everything ourselves (even the translation of his birth certificate). No RFE's. Most importantly no 6 hour drives for an interview!

Congratulations!!! This is kind of affirming it feels good, I did everything by myself and was just hoping things go fast they haven't yet...hopefully they will soon...fingers crossed :hehe::hehe: still waiting on my biometric appointment 25 days over hopefully in the next few days!

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

How long do I have to wait to get my rfe in the mail,Am starting to get worried because I did my bio on the 8th of April and the status on i485 changed on the 11th of April and have been waiting to get the rfe in the mail but nothing yet..Should I be worried?

How long do I have to wait to get my rfe in the mail,Am starting to get worried because I did my bio on the 8th of April and the status on i485 changed on the 11th of April and have been waiting to get the rfe in the mail but nothing yet..Should I be worried?

The online portal makes it seem like up to 30 days. But probably a week or so. I bet Monday it will show up.

I just got my AP letter in the mail (I-5121). It looks like I ca use this document to travel back and forth. But now I'm wondering when my combo card comes? I was really expecting a card...? Does anyone have any insight?
