I am wondering if someone has any idea, if there's an RFE how long it would take until you hear something about it (this would be the affidavit of support) I forgot to send a picture of the biopage of the passport of my husband. I do expect an RFE for that, but not sure since it's kind of obvious that my husband that sponsors me is a usc (because otherwise I wouldnt even been able to apply for it lol). But then again, it's uscis, so I bet I will get an RFE

Met around 2011/2012 in a game (league of legends) super random, best friends ever since... grew closer as friends and desided in 2013 to try dating, flew over and we had a click =)

Thanks for that info - based on the visajourney stats I might be in luck to make the wedding!! Unfortunately we can't apply for AP because I entered on a tourist visa...

Why do you think this? My husband overstayed his tourist visa and was still eligible to apply for ead and ap. Is there something that says you can't?

Ugh, got an update for an RFE....

**Adjusting from initial Q1/changed to B1 then overstay, termination of removal proceedings**

(STAND ALONE i-130/TERMINATION OF REMOVAL)

First met: Totally random by asking for directions, June 2014 while on vacation at Disney World (L)

Engaged: Aug. 21, 2014

Married: Dec. 1, 2014

ICE phone contact: sometime in early Dec. 2014- Co-operated, retained attorney who advised the same.

Filed stand alone i-130: January 2015 (VSC)

ICE home visit, schedule time to go to DHS office and NTA issued, date TBD, was not detained and released on own recognizance within an hour: January, 2015.

NOA1: Feb. 20, 2015.

Transfer to CSC to balance workloads: August 2015

1)First Master Calendar Hearing: Sept. 9, 2015-Continued based on pending i-130, new court date in 6mo.

Congressional Inquiry: Dec 8. 2015

***i-130 APPROVED WITHOUT INTERVIEW: Dec. 21, 2015** :dancing:

2)Second Master Hearing: March 9, 2016- Removal proceedings terminated w/o prejudice based on approved i-130!! Remanded to USCIS to begin AOS process :dance:

Ugh, got an update for an RFE....

When you got an update for RFE? You had your biometrics today right?

March 17th, 2016: Filled i130, i485, i765

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

Didn't receive NOA hard copy receipts in mail(not a problem,if you receive text or email)

April 8th,2016: received bio metrics for i-485 and i-765

April 14th,2016: Early walk in for bio-metrics Appointment (actual date was 18th april)

May 2nd, 2016: Received RFE for Joint Sponsor

May24th, 2016: Sent RFE back to USCIS

May 27th,2016: RFE received by USCIS

June 3rd, 2016: Request to Expedite EAD

June 6th,2016: EAD Approved

June 15th,2016: EAD received in mail

June 15th, 2016: Case status changed for i-485( case is ready to schedule to schedule for a interview)

June 23rd, 2016: Interview is scheduled for August 1st,2016.

August 1st, 2016: Got approved on GC interview

Auugust 1st 2016: case status changed for i-485 (case approved & we send you card to production)

August 4th, 2016: status changed "Card mailed to me"

My lawyer said so. Did your husband's get approved?

Your lawyer is incorrect.

I agree with you PaddyGirl13. I over stayed and still filed mine. I know tons of people who got approved. Always take it upon yourself to do your research. Edited by HopeFab

That's so strange and frustrating! We are thinking of calling USCIS when we have the NOA1 and asking them if we are eligible. Thank you all so much for helping us!

It updated last night around 11pm, we were asleep and didn't see it. It's a request for initial evidence not further, so maybe we left out something or made mistakes. Yes we have the biometrics appt today still. We are going to call out lawyer and see if she has an idea
