Did early walk-in for biometrics today. It was very easy as that place is not busy at all.

I just remembered last night that on the USCIS Case Status Website we can look to see when the last date the status has been updated (touched). Last update was prior to biometric appointment.

Yes hopefully we get our interview date soon. Did you get any RFE after biometrics?

minmilove, how do you do that? I thought you could only check the current case status and not the updates. Thanks !!

We did not get an RFE (yet). Praying for my husband to get waived on the interview. Our concern is getting his EAD ASAP. Feel bad he pretty much just stays home all day.

Did you download the case tracker? If you did you can click on one of the cases and then click on the part that says 'view on web'. Brings up the USCIS website and you can put in the case numbers and check each from there. We did this when we went through I-129F/K1 visa. It's a real blessing to see when the cases have been looked at or whatever they do with them. www.egov.uscis.gov

Same here, i am done with my school. Now badly waiting for EAD so that i can start working. Hopefully i don't get any RFE ?

We just sent my husbands AOS , it got delivered on March 30th, we still didn't get any sms or email , we sent it to Chicago lockbox. Any idea how long it will take?

Same here. It helps that he makes himself busy by cleaning the house or dishes if I didn't take care of it. And he exercises by running and exploring the town on his bike. Now that it's not -20 outside he can actually go outside!

Having an interview would stink for us as it would take place in St Paul MN, a 7 hour drive. That's the only reason I'm hoping ours is waived.

"Next Steps

If we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice. If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions."

Does this show for everybody the same, or is this a sign that there wont be an interview etc? Since with an interview I figure the next step would be the interview? USCIS just never makes sense so I hope I can figure things out with you guys =)

Good question. On the USCIS website mine says that under "next steps" as well. Not sure what the meaning behind it is however. My (well my husband's) biometrics was last week so...

So uscis is again, just leaving us in the dark >< I am getting tired of staying at home haha It feels like prison, tho you share it with your loved one
