I did a walkin today early morning but failed because there was crowded. The lady told me try to come back after 2pm. It succeeded.

I explained my situation and they helped to lookup my file in the computer. However, I was told that USCIS hasn't asked me to do the i485 biometrics yet. I have to wait for another FP letter and do it next time. They told me USCIS sometimes mail it seperate.

I wish you can receive the other FP letter before the appointment or they will have your 2 FP in the system by your visit.

Good luck. Keep updating :)

Well, your fingerprints will still be the exact same and the photo won't be much different, except for the outfit, and eventually a haircut, hahaha

but oh well... it is their system and we play by their rules.

Anyway, glad to hear you got your I-765 bio done early! And sorry to hear that you will have to go back there again for a 3rd time. I hope your other bio letter arrive soon. Keep us posted.

Hi toby123,

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you were able to get at least one of the biometrics done on your walk in. I hope I get another letter before my appointment next Tuesday. I have also heard that there is a code number on the biometric letters which can be 1,2, or 3. The code is important for what type of finger prints (10 prints or just the index finger) they take at the appointment. Mine is code 3. What code did you have on your letter and did they take all your 10 finger prints at your appointment?

No, ours was received 3/17 and we didn't get notice til yesterday, 3/29. It can take up to 10 business days.

If it expires, you would get some notice with the returned pack as to why it was returned. Copy it, include it on evidence and re file.

Our payment wasn't processed til a week and a half after we mailed. You're not going to be returned unless you made a mistake in payments most likely.

Just joining this forum now ?. I been looking at some timelines and started wondering. It's been two weeks since the package was delivered and no checks have been cashed. Not sure if I should worry...,

Good luck to everyone in this crazy journey!

Thanks... I think we did make a mistake in payments actually... He apparently was reading something older on visa journey that said payment was $1010 and it looks like it's actually $1070. Hopefully we get the package back soon and it is rectified.

No hard copies yet for NOA. Only 10 days since email of receipt with case numbers. Case tracker says fp fee received for 485 & other 2: case received. All the things that go through my mind... r we getting an rfe, will our bio be included with noa? No matter what we will keep faith that all will be fine.

Someone else posted a while back about that. The whole pack was sent back, easy to fix. I would call and explain and see if a tier 2 can locate the file.
