Oh yeah, I haven't even noticed that! Haha! That's great! And I see you just recently got married, congratulations!!:thumbs:

Thank you! :) We had a bit of a delay with my I-94 and lack of available appointments at town hall but we made it in time before my K-1 expired :)

I just visited the office and explained my situation. I didn't want to call USCIS to reschedule my appointment, because It might delay my case. I decided to go after reading a post saying someone was successful at the same office like two years ago. Good luck!

Just curious as to when your original biometrics appointment was set to?

So guys, clear something up for me. If we want to do early biometrics, do we make an infopass? Or do we just show up at the center with the notice?

Does doing the biometrics early make your EAD arrive earlier at all? Thanks!

Just show up with required documents.

No it does not speed up the process. Most people do walk-ins because of convenience

I just wanted to share my early biometrics walk-in experience.

I received the letter last Saturday with the bio appointment set for 04/07. Yesterday I went over the ASC, which is about 30 min drive from home. After reading a post about someone being turned away very early in the morning, I arrived there around 11AM.

They were really busy and backed up. I didn't think about it, but we had a terrible blizzard last week here in Denver, roads were shut down, several businesses closed for a day or two (including the ASC), so long story short, they didn't take me in.

The lady also mentioned that it was too early (10 days from the scheduled date).

It was not a big deal for me and I'll just go back next week. And I'll definitely keep an eye on the weather forecast haha

Anyways, I just thought it would be useful to share a turned down attempt to do an early walk in biometrics appointment. We see many successful stories, but the walk-ins are not 100% guaranteed. That is something to consider, especially if it is a long way for you to get to the ASC, or if you depend on someone else to drive, etc.

Thanks for sharing, Intdenver. Hopefully that will help people who are thinking of jumping in early, as walk-ins are not guaranteed.

For us, the nearest office for biometrics is 3.5 hours away, NoDak is a small place with the ASC office on the eastern BORDER of the state (why not put it in the middle? derp)...so doing a walk-in never crossed our minds. Driving that distance to possibly be turned away... No Way, Jose!

Good luck doing the the walk-in. I'm eager to hear how it goes. Hopefully, everything will be resolved for us soon.

I did a walkin today early morning but failed because there was crowded. The lady told me try to come back after 2pm. It succeeded.

I explained my situation and they helped to lookup my file in the computer. However, I was told that USCIS hasn't asked me to do the i485 biometrics yet. I have to wait for another FP letter and do it next time. They told me USCIS sometimes mail it seperate.

I wish you can receive the other FP letter before the appointment or they will have your 2 FP in the system by your visit.

Good luck. Keep updating :)

So what you received was only for I-765?

Mine says both I-485 and I-765
