its super easy... had mine here in L.A. - the worst part was the parking fee

I came in showed my letter and he gave me an application where i had to fill out a few things.

After I returned it they called my number immediately. They made a picture (which she did not show me , take all fingerprint - first all fingers together and thump separately, then each finger .

this lasted less than 10 minutes and I in and out maybe 20 minutes.

The case tracker shows our information now. Fingerprint fee accepted on 3/19. How about you? I guess we should be receiving biometrics appointment letter next.

Yes, we're able to view all three applications in the case tracker now, too. Whew! The fingerprint fee was accepted on March 11 for us. Just waiting for biometrics, which, judging from others' updates in this forum, should come relatively soon. We've received the paper copies of the NOA1, but not sure when they arrived as we just returned to MN from our honeymoon.

Did you kno you could file all the forms concurrently ?

Yep, I do know! We went ahead and submitted our Form I-130 first because we were still waiting for some tax documents needed for Form I-485.

Hubby's timeline:

March 8 - Sent AOS packet (I-485, I-131 & I-765)

March 10 - USCIS received our packet

March 17 - check cashed

March 17 - received 3 texts/emails

March 21 - received 3 hard copies of I-767C

March 22 - updates shown on USCIS website case tracker

This is incorrect. Your case may or may not be transferred to a local office, depending on the case load of the NBC and whether they believe the local office can handle additional paperwork. You may or may not have an interview as well. A lot of individuals adjusting from K-1 visas are accepted without an interview.

I did say that earlier in a post that they dont must transfer your case to a local office they can approved the case at nbc.but if a interview is needed your file will be transfered to where the interview is taking place.not everyone case is k1 because mines not but am married to a usc.

I am F1 student and married to a USC. They cashed my check today. So my timeline looks like this:

3/17/2016- file send

3/18/2016- file received at uscis chicago

3/23/2016- got text/email with receipt #

3/24/2016- checks chashed

That's true. Am a b2 visitors visa am adjusting been married here 1 year.so more than lightly i will get a interview let us pray and keep our fingers cross we hear something soon and our process will be speedy.
