Congrats, Sparkles!

what's your office again?

Not me, that is fort knox who got their interview notice :) I was just saying to them that the online tracker doesn't always update when it sends out interview notices.....I've seen that happening on here a lot.

Are you still waiting, davyjoe?

Would be good to have joint car insurance, maybe life/health/dental insurance together....gym memberships if you use the gym....we have a family level zoo membership for example, little stuff like that.

This is actually a very good idea to keep me busy while we wait. I had planned to gather everything once we got the interview notice but I believe I'm going to just start now to occupy myself :)

Just a quick FYI- uscis released the processing dates today, about 2 weeks late than it was supposed to.

I was suprised to see that Queens NY, moved back/retrogressed-if that word is even applicable here. Last month it said, as of Sept 30, processing Feb 9. The latest updated now says as of Oct 31, processing January 3. Is that even possible?

But at least manhattan and long island moved a month forward.

what if we have copy of none of those forms that we sent to USCIS? IS it mandatory to have copy of those forms?

Nope, it is not. All of the info on there should be in your memory such as spouse's birthdate and what type of visa you came on and old addresses. You would look really weird if you showed up with a copy of the forms to look at and answer from at the interview.....don't recommend this at all.

If you accidentally sent original copies of things like birth certificates there is a way you can get them back after the interview somehow if needed.

Okay, I know all of information we put in the forms either mine or my wife's. because they are our own personal information.

No, I did not send my original birth certificate, I just sent the copy one.

I am wondering how people carry all the evidences and documents to the interview place. for example we have more than 200 selected pictures plus other documents such as, lease, utilities, car insurance, medical insurance, Joint Sam's Club card etc. Shall we put them in a bag or a folder?

is the officer ask us for more evidences or we should suggest her/him to add more stuff in our forms. because the day we sent the forms to USCIS, we sent no pictures or documents like lease or insurance. we just sent forms and personal IDs like passport and DOB.

Make two copies of any paper evidence you have....OK so if you have electric bills and bank statements in both your names, make two copies of each paper proof you bring....one for your records and one in case the immigration officer wants to keep. Same for lease and anything else. You can bring a cheap photo album....many people do this and just tell the officer take what you want from the photos. For paper things, get a three ring binder and plastic page covers from staples store or somewhere similar so you can just open it easily and flip to what you need. Put two copies like I said in each clear plastic page.

You know you didn't send much in the way of proof so be ready for them to probably keep almost all of the things you bring. If they see you bring in things they should ask if you want to show them to be considered. Good luck!
