Any news from any of the New Yorkers? I'm getting very impatient ?

NOTHING. I AM BALD FROM PULLING ALL MY HAIR OUT IN RAGE.

It's been an overall 6 months and 3 days, (130 workdays, 186 overall days) since we've been "ready to schedule your interview."

It's been 225 days overall since our Forms reached the office.

This is getting ridiculous.

Completely ridiculous! I follow a group on FB and people from California, Arizona and many other states applied in August and they already had their interviews! Some people applied in the Summer and have their GC in hand. Unbelievable!

Not on it's way yet. But it's being produced. Soon it will change to approved and then mailed, when mailed it should get to you in about a week

Yes, that means your green card is on the way! That gives me hope!! We have the same local service center in St. Paul and our AOS (from K-1) filing timelines are nearly identical. Did your case status change on the uscis.gov website over the weekend? Any details you are willing to share would be appreciated.

Yes it changed Saturday morning :D was a nice thing to wake up to hahah we had two rfes one was in April/may for proof that the joint sponsor was a us citizen (we had to send a birth certificate) and then the other was our 3025 needed to be on i693 as was incomplete because I needed another flu shot and tetnus. I contacted the congressman in our county to find out about the Greencard process and they told us it had been transferred to Newark,New Jersey as I filed a service request and got no reply :P

Edit: status changed again today to case was approved !!! Eek!!!

Had my interview on Friday. it was super quick and easy, the IO didnt even wanna see all the papers and documents we had.

Cant wait for the greencard to be delivered.

Hello everyone. I filed my case in March 11 with the I-130 approved. had my finger prints in April 17. It's been since that date that my case status still shows finger print fees were received. No interview date has been set nor any update whatsoever. Anyone waiting this long ? I live in SF and i filed to the chicago service center

I would file a e-request/service request that's what I did and I got my congressman to inquire about what stage it was on and found out it had been transferred and they sent me a RFE a few days later lol

I'm waiting since March too without any update on my case. I filed a service request last month and I emailed my congressman a week ago. I found out my case was in Florida until The very same day that I filed a service request when it was sent to my field office. Uscis said it would take up to more 90 days.

Can you provide more details about how to contact your congressperson for help? Is there a thread on VisaJourney about how to do that??

It seems odd that our timelines are nearly identical and we live in the same city/state, but you've already received the GC and our status has been stuck on "Fingerprint fee received" since March 11. I think we should follow your lead and get some congressperson muscle involved!!

I searched google for the congressman in my county than emailed them but you can ring them then they send you a form to print off and sign and send back to them and then they help. I think it's all completely random seems it anyway haha! They helped me expedite my ead as well they are great! Beats ringing USCIS and getting the same useless person reading from a script congress seem to be able to directly speak to USCIS immigration officers because they got quick replies lol

Edit: Erik Paulsen is Hennepin county's congressman but you will have to look up if you live in a different one :)
