Exactly!! I have heard nothing. We called. Spoke to tier 2 and said just keep waiting...grrr

My husband and I called USCIS this morning to speak with a Tier 2 Officer and basically received the same information--that we are still within normal processing times, need to be patient, we are not more special than anyone else and need to wait our turn. Etc. etc.

I tried to find out whether our application had been transferred to another service center from NBC as someone else in this forum found out that their case had been transferred, but the Tier 2 seemingly didn't want to share the information or was feigning ignorance. I guess it can be hard to field questions from so many emotional or stressed people each day, but they need to keep in mind that, from our perspective, our lives are on hold in many ways until we receive a response.

Still, it's important to remain positive and expect a good outcome. Worrying has never sped along the process and probably won't in this case either, right??

As far as international travel goes--I have a question for fellow March 2016 filers. What do you think are the odds that an interview would be scheduled in the holiday period between Christmas and January 4? We hope to travel to Taiwan to see my husband's mother during his winter break (he works for a school), but are wondering if we should come back earlier. Fingers crossed, though, that we will have the interview way before Christmas...

Chins up, everybody. We can do this.

Hi, there

We almost have the same timeline

My case was received March 7th and I didt get any updates after that. I also called Tier 2 and he told me that my case looks good, nothing is keeping it on hold and every case is different ( I told him i know a few cases that have an interview date already amd they filed after me)

Regarding the Xmas trip, I'm planning to travel by that time too, Hopefully with my GC in hand.

My husband and I called USCIS this morning to speak with a Tier 2 Officer and basically received the same information--that we are still within normal processing times, need to be patient, we are not more special than anyone else and need to wait our turn. Etc. etc.

Did you ask "has my case been transferred"? I've called a few times and teir 2 always told me your within normal processing Times you need to wait but when I asked the magic question can you look to see if my case ha been transferred that's when I found out more information... If I never asked that question I would of never of found out my case got transferred cause they had no intention of telling me!! Once finding out my case got transferred I had to enquire the location it was transferred to don't just assume it's YOUR local office it can be a different local office... Don't expect teir 2 to tell you straight off the bat you need to ask the right questions to get more information Edited by Moslund
