Hello, fellows! Does anyone know why my 131 travel authorization was recently updated even though I got it almost 3 months ago? Is that sign that my papers are being reviewed? I'm waiting for my interview date, filed 3/7.

Another miracle! Case update just came through stating his I-485 is approved ??? No interview.

So here is the details of my GC interview.Hopefully it will help someone who have interview soon. Our interview was on August 1st(2016) at 1pm. We(me & my wife) reached there at 12.53pm. showed

My GC interview was today at 1pm. And i got approved yayyyyy ? will post a detail review later.

March 17th, 2016: Filled i130, i485, i765

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

Didn't receive NOA hard copy receipts in mail(not a problem,if you receive text or email)

April 8th,2016: received bio metrics for i-485 and i-765

April 14th,2016: Early walk in for bio-metrics Appointment (actual date was 18th april)

May 2nd, 2016: Received RFE for Joint Sponsor

May24th, 2016: Sent RFE back to USCIS

May 27th,2016: RFE received by USCIS

June 3rd, 2016: Request to Expedite EAD

June 6th,2016: EAD Approved

June 15th,2016: EAD received in mail

June 15th, 2016: Case status changed for i-485( case is ready to schedule to schedule for a interview)

June 23rd, 2016: Interview is scheduled for August 1st,2016.

August 1st, 2016: Got approved on GC interview

Auugust 1st 2016: case status changed for i-485 (case approved & we send you card to production)

August 4th, 2016: status changed "Card mailed to me"

Look like Chicago field office is moving faster than most.

Hubby's Timeline:

January 19, 2013 - Sent I-130

January 23, 2013 - Priority DateJuly 2013 - Approved but ineligible to adjust

March 8, 2016-sent AOS packet ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

March 10 - lockbox received packet

March 17 - notifications received

March 21 - received hardcopies of NOAs

April 1 - received biometrics appointment

April 11 - Biometrics at Buena Park

May 6 - received hardcopy of I-131 approval dated May 2

May 11 - received texts/email - AP Approved, EAD card is being produced (ordered card production April 30)

May 27 - called USCIS tier 2 - service request to reproduce crooked card that was not sent

June 8 - received texts/email/update - EAD card being mailed

June 11 - received EAD/AP combo card

August 23 - Interview is scheduled for Sept. 28

Sept 28 - AOS approved

Thank you...yah chicago office is very fast. It took me one month to send rfe back but still got the interview and everything done.

Crazy...we're waiting for a determination from our interview, which was 30 June. Called a few days ago and had to insist on being transferred to a Tier 2 rep. We were told that the application was still under review and to check back in a week (the interviewing officer told us that it could take around six weeks, but would likely be sooner than that). We've been together just over 19 years and thought our case was pretty straight forward. From K-1 until now, everything seemed to be progressing smoothly and faster than anticipated. Still practicing patience, but it's morphing into concern.

08/14/2015: NOA1 received by email; hardcopy received approximately 08/17/2015
09/14/2015: NOA2 received
09/30/2015: NVC received case
10/02/2015: CEAC status changed to "In Transit"
10/08/2015: CEAC status changed to "Ready"
10/09/2015: Consulate acknowledged receipt via phone; Hardcopy from US DoS with case number.
10/19/2015: Received information from Consulate.
10/28/2015: Medical Exam
11/17/2015: Interview...rescheduled due to computer problems. New date as yet unknown.
11/18/2015: Called in for interview and APPROVED!

11/24/2015: Picked up visa/passport and sealed packet from the Consulate! <happy dance>

02/14/2016: Arrived in the U.S. (POE was Bermuda)...CO was really nice!

Hello, fellows. My status is also stuck on Fingerprints received on March 7th.

Sorry my ignorance, what does it mean talking to a tier 2? is that the USCIS number?

Any word on anything Long Island filers? We are still at fingerprint received and tier two said sorry Holtsville does not post 485 processing times. It isn't even a field office on visa journey. Feel like our case has landed in Limbo. Husbands mom is really sick and not likely to recover. But he is scared to travel on AP alone because he overstayed a visitors visa. Stressful times around here!

If you have a legit family emergency and you have proof of the emergency then your pretty much gaurenteed reentry even with an overstay... It's different if you just leave for the hell of a vacation is when you run into problems... Has your case been transferred to a local office yet? Or is it still at NBC... Just cause your local office is holtsville it doesn't mean your case is there it could be at a different local office which seeks to be the case for most "fingerprint fee recieved" people who are stuck on that status

My case is being processed at the local office in Harlingen, Texas even tho my local office is Norfolk, va... So I need to track my case through Harlingen local office not Norfolk
