Congratulations, Yes she is approved. No interview needed. Just need to file to removed condition 90 days before the expiration of that green card.

I just have a quick question. My wife file for her adjustment of status back in March. In May we received a request for more information. Had to send some tax stuff to them. Anyway, she got her employment card in June which was good. Now to the part I have a question about. Last week we received a receipt saying "Congratulations. Your permanent resident card has been approved." It went into detail about how she would have to reapply in two years.

So is this it? Did she get approved for her green card. We were under the impression that we would need to go into an interview before she would get the card.

Also filedI130/I485 early March...Accepted 3/8. Every time I click on case status I swear I hear the sound of crickets... Nothing since case received. I do not even mind if it just changed to something like...Hang in there we are slow as heck and will get to you someday. I just want to see that an actual change happened! LOl...

have you tried talking to a tier 2 about it to see where your case currently is? that may give you some piece of mind even if oyu cant physically see the updates yourself via the case tracker

It is a bit strange but very few applicants in my field office are getting interviewed. They are going straight to approval of the green card. Is this normal?

have you tried talking to a tier 2 about it to see where your case currently is? that may give you some piece of mind even if oyu cant physically see the updates yourself via the case tracker

When you call Uscis and your put threw to a real person ask them to be transferred to a tier 2... A teir 2 is an actual immigration officer they can see more in depth information with what's going on in your case than what the people can your first put through to Edited July 28, 2016 by Moslund

The people your first put threw to basically tell you what you already know... Teir 2 was able to tell me my EAD was approved but the original people couldn't access that cause my status handy updated yet... Teir 2 was also able to tell me my case that's stuck on fingerprint fee recieved was transfered to a local office a few weeks ago but the other person wasn't able to see that information... Word of warning when you ask for a transfer some people happily transfer other will tell you there is no point they can't tell you anymore information but be persistent!!!
