No, mine says it was returned to agency on the 27th June as well...the dates changed from the 17th (day applied) then 22nd, then 27th (and also said case returned to agency) and today it says 30th but still nothing on the system.

Gotcha. Mine never changed the dates or message and I got my card with no problem. I'm sorry I can't be of much help

Had our interview today, but received no approval or denial... Relatively, it wasn't difficult. She mostly asked my wife questions, never separated us, didn't dive too deeply into anything. The interviewer didn't have the full file and said they might be bringing it up during the interview (it was there, but hadn't been delivered to the interviewer); but, that didn't happen before we concluded. At the end, we were given a Notice of Interview Results document, stating that our case was being held for review. Strangely, I don't recall hearing a printer, yet this notice was already populated with her name and A number, with the box checked indicating it was being held. Seemed like they had it prepped before we even walked in the door. The interviewer was professional and pleasant throughout and mentioned that there were no red flags. She also said that it could take up to 120 days to receive the decision by mail, though it shouldn't take that long - that's just what they are required to say. She was also surprised that we'd gotten scheduled for an interview so quickly, considering how short a time we've been married, and that they were working on cases from August 2015 (but that may be related to the case type).

We've been together over 19 years now, so made sure she was aware of that and offered some documentation that our lawyer hadn't included with the application: joint bank statements from different periods, documents regarding the house purchase and utility statements for the house (which we purchased over 10 years ago), the lease agreement with our current tenant, and old student loan papers showing me as the guarantor. We also explained why we married in the time frame that we did and with only my brother in attendance - she didn't specifically ask, but we offered that info anyway.

My wife is stressed, but I'm remaining positive. Her brother's also been through the process, and he's talking her down as I type this. More waiting, but hopefully we'll soon see a positive resolution to this stage.

Some people got approved shortly (within hours) after receiving that notice.

You got plenty of supporting documents. You should have submitted them first hand. I heard that they went through the documents we submitted carefully before interviews and somehow made decisions before actual interviews.

I don't see any reasons you guys should be worried though. You have a strong case. Best of luck.

Hey everyone!

Here is my current situation - I am wondering if there is any action I could or should be taking at this point.

I sent my I485 plus both other applications on Feb 29, my receipt notice was on March 10.

My EAD and advance parole were approved April 25. The card came soon after.

I have been working for the last month and not really been thinking too much about my i485, but now I am starting to get a little worried, My USCIS case tracker status has not changed from "Fingerprint fee was received" on March 9.

Should I be concerned? I suppose the time frame is 6 months and that is not until September 10th for me.

My k1 process was pretty straightforward. Only hiccup was after I was approved at my consulate interview, I waited a month for my passport to be returned with my Visa. A n immigration lawyer I consulted with occasionally suspected that this was because my father was born in a middle eastern country and they were probably conducting more extensive background checks.

My question is: should I be concerned at this oint that there has been so little movement on my i485 status? If so, what action can I take to chase up with it?

Thanks everyone!

My Green card arrived today in the mail, I'm so relieved and excited (we filed in the beginning of March). I'm so grateful to this forum, and all the help I received here! So thank you, everyone. (L)

A couple of takeaways that might be useful for others:

- we sent our application without the vaccination sheet, and I did not have a copy of my overseas medical, either. I did include a note on the cover letter explaining that I received all the required vaccines and they should have my medical on file. I did include a copy of the little WHO booklet. I don't know if any of this mattered or made a difference, but we were approved without an RFE or interview.

- we did not include any additional proof, just sent the required documents

- case status never updated to ready for interview, all of a sudden just got the approval text

- I haven't been receiving email updates, only text messages (unlike before)

Congratulations again to everyone who had good news on their EAD/AP or Green card, and the best of luck for all those who are still waiting. See you all in two years!

Congratulations to those who got their SS cards! We are still waiting, and now, there's been a development: the DMV one that said "Case returned to agency" for over a week has now changed BACK to "Case under review". Seriously- this is ridiculous! The difference is that the one for the DMV has a little box in the upper right area that shows "4 more days" while the one for the SS card shows nothing. :(
