Had our interview today, but received no approval or denial... Relatively, it wasn't difficult. She mostly asked my wife questions, never separated us, didn't dive too deeply into anything. The interviewer didn't have the full file and said they might be bringing it up during the interview (it was there, but hadn't been delivered to the interviewer); but, that didn't happen before we concluded. At the end, we were given a Notice of Interview Results document, stating that our case was being held for review. Strangely, I don't recall hearing a printer, yet this notice was already populated with her name and A number, with the box checked indicating it was being held. Seemed like they had it prepped before we even walked in the door. The interviewer was professional and pleasant throughout and mentioned that there were no red flags. She also said that it could take up to 120 days to receive the decision by mail, though it shouldn't take that long - that's just what they are required to say. She was also surprised that we'd gotten scheduled for an interview so quickly, considering how short a time we've been married, and that they were working on cases from August 2015 (but that may be related to the case type).

We've been together over 19 years now, so made sure she was aware of that and offered some documentation that our lawyer hadn't included with the application: joint bank statements from different periods, documents regarding the house purchase and utility statements for the house (which we purchased over 10 years ago), the lease agreement with our current tenant, and old student loan papers showing me as the guarantor. We also explained why we married in the time frame that we did and with only my brother in attendance - she didn't specifically ask, but we offered that info anyway.

My wife is stressed, but I'm remaining positive. Her brother's also been through the process, and he's talking her down as I type this. More waiting, but hopefully we'll soon see a positive resolution to this stage.

We applied for the SSN on the 15th as well. Nothing yet. He also went to try to get his driver's license, and they wouldn't renew it. He got a SAVE Case Check number, which says "Case Returned to Agency" for the Department of Public Safety on the same day he applied. Anyone know what that means? And why it doesn't show an update on the SSN?

He called today and they told him that they don't see anything in the system so he would have to wait SIX MORE WEEKS. What?!?!?! Anyone know why this would happen??

On the same boat as you! Applied on the 17th, and on the 27th it said case returned to agency (mine says Maryland SSA even though I'm in Miami), went to the SSN office today to find out and he said nothing yet, documents still not been approved. The woman I saw when I first applied told me immigration were having some kind of issue where it could take 4-8 weeks to verify work permits (especially if they're relatively new).

I have a job starting on the 11th and trying to do the drugs test etc without a SSN has been an absolute nightmare. I'm just hoping this SSN delay won't cost me a job as 8 weeks is too long to wait!

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else here or if anyone knows...my SSN application on SAVE is showing that it's at the Maryland SSA (Signon), even though I'm in Miami, Florida. I wonder why it went there and why apparently SAVE has returned my application to the Maryland office (even though as I mentioned earlier, I went to my local SSA office this morning and was told there was nothing on the system. Has anyone had the same issue where your application appears to be at a different office?

Maryland is the ss headquarters, mine says the same and I got my Ssn from Wisconsin.

Gotcha! So weird how apparently SAVE sent it back to them on the 27th and there's still no approval in the system...I'm thinking the SAVE tracker is flawed?

Hello everyone! Quick question! I submitted a service request because my i765 was reaching the 90 day regulatory time period.

My i765 was approved and a card was ordered on June 29, at exactly 88 days. I have my AOS interview scheduled for July 14th. However, my form I-130 has not changed at all; it still remains at "case received". Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be.

It won't say approved, mine says "case returned to agency" with the date I applied for and Maryland and it never changed.

I believe they will review the i130 with the i485. You will probably have an answer at your interview

No, mine says it was returned to agency on the 27th June as well...the dates changed from the 17th (day applied) then 22nd, then 27th (and also said case returned to agency) and today it says 30th but still nothing on the system.
