Try signing up to USPS. You will be able to track down if any parcels are being delivered to you. It is very detailed and will give you specific updates on the whereabouts of your parcel.

If indeed it was mailed, it will show up on the tracking based on your address.

I tried that but it wouldn't verify the "myusps", anyway finally got the call back and the tracking number, yay! Checked it and says it's in my town and out for delivery... But my mailman has already been and nothing. Hopefully tomorrow then.

I have a question about the updates on I-130. Our I-485 status is Ready to be scheduled for an interview. We received EAD. The status for our I-130 still says Case Received----- is this typical?

I believe that when filing concurrently both the i130 and i485 are adjudicated at the same time at the interview.

I was in the social security office this morning with my ead. The letter he gave me at the end said it could take 4 weeks but he said it usually takes 10 days. He also said it was OK to work while waiting for the number.

Yeah but you need SSN for a background check. So it kinda defeats the purpose.

We went to SSA this morning for the card and she said his EAD is not valid and a card can not be issued. I asked if this was because it is too soon and she said "I don't know these things wait four weeks before calling to see if it can be processed" When I asked if it would be automatic sent or I had to come back she gave me a look that that said...shut up you idiot...but only said I have no information about that if you do not hear anything call in 4 weeks. No I am in a panic because I am hoping something else is not wrong. I know some people have said they had to wait but his card was approved 4/28 and its almost two months later. Anyone else have this? On a good note we were in and out in 10 minutes when I expected a full day affair.

Hey Corriejam, did you at anytime ever hold a SSN?
