It updated last night around 11pm, we were asleep and didn't see it. It's a request for initial evidence not further, so maybe we left out something or made mistakes. Yes we have the biometrics appt today still. We are going to call out lawyer and see if she has an idea

At least you got your RFE pretty quick and hopefully its a easy fix.

March 17th, 2016: Filled i130, i485, i765

March 18th,2016: Delivered USCIS Chicago

March 23rd,2016: Received 3 text/email with receipt #

March 24th,2016: checks cashed

Didn't receive NOA hard copy receipts in mail(not a problem,if you receive text or email)

April 8th,2016: received bio metrics for i-485 and i-765

April 14th,2016: Early walk in for bio-metrics Appointment (actual date was 18th april)

May 2nd, 2016: Received RFE for Joint Sponsor

May24th, 2016: Sent RFE back to USCIS

May 27th,2016: RFE received by USCIS

June 3rd, 2016: Request to Expedite EAD

June 6th,2016: EAD Approved

June 15th,2016: EAD received in mail

June 15th, 2016: Case status changed for i-485( case is ready to schedule to schedule for a interview)

June 23rd, 2016: Interview is scheduled for August 1st,2016.

August 1st, 2016: Got approved on GC interview

Auugust 1st 2016: case status changed for i-485 (case approved & we send you card to production)

August 4th, 2016: status changed "Card mailed to me"

I have a feeling it's either wanting tax transcripts instead of the printed filings for us or the cops onsie, or medical. We didn't send the medical with the packet....but I thought you could bring it in a sealed stamped envelope to the interview.

Biometrics went smoothly, St Paul office let me have a walk in (my apt was for tomorrow) as my son's appointment was today, so we did it together. :) officious folks but friendly, the lady doing mine asked me all about Ireland.

Thats amazing!!!! I'm in the process of expediting too and im on my 54th day. Just got an email from USCIS asking me to fax my job offer letter. Did you get that too?

Thats amazing!!!! I'm in the process of expediting too and im on my 54th day. Just got an email from USCIS asking me to fax my job offer letter. Did you get that too?

I put in my expedite request on 04/14/2016. Got a request for an additional information from USCIS officer on 04/15/2016. My expedite was based on job offer so I faxed in my job offer letter same day. 04/20/2016, I called spoke to a level 1 officer and told them about my expedite request based on start date of May 9, 2016; The level 1 officer moved me to a level 2 officer. Spoke to level 2 office, says no update yet, but said he would file a request for information on my expedition status. Check status this morning, nothing changed. And hours later, at about 2 PM CT, text messages hit my phone, saying EAD and Advanced parole both approved and card being produce; status updated online too. That's how it happened. Good luck on your expedite. Lessons learned: Sometimes, if you don't move quickly, they won't move on your case as quickly.

We're envious! haha..hubby had his biometrics April 11, and you got ur notice already!!!

But that gives us hope! we're definitely gonna refresh that case status update more often now LOL!

My lawyer said so. Did your husband's get approved?

Not yet. But many we know in the same situation have. And the lawyer we consulted with said that it is the norm.
