My personal opinion it is so they have more proof of how much he is making per month, I gave 6 months of my husbands pay stubs to be safe, I recommend providing the last 3 cause I have seen majority of people bringing the pay stubs for there interviews

Better to be safe then sorry

One or two months of recent pay stubs should be fine. In theory, the USEM looks at current sustained income. In practice, they currently don't appear to be requesting tax returns, W-2's, pay stubs, nor employer's letters from K-1ers. But, better to be safe than sorry, so bring everything with you to the interview.

●Pay stubs secondary, not required. Good to have if a new employee, otherwise not needed

●IRS (internal revenue service) Most recent tax return COPY

●Bank statement Not needed

●Tax return (see IRS comment)

●W2's copy only needed

●Employment letter secondary, not required. Good to have if a new employee, otherwise not needed.

I'll appreciate your answers!

Follow the embassy instructions letter as to what is required. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf

Updated letter of intent to marry within 90 days of arriving in the U.S. = original HAS NOT BEEN ASKED FOR IN ALMOST 5 YEARS

I just want to verify though... what form that needs to be signed in BLUE INK?

Nothing is required to be signed in blue ink.

You should jump over to the Philippines forum with your question regarding K-1 processing in Manila http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

I agree, follow the Embassy instructions letter.

From the Embassy instructions instructions letter:

"EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE ENGAGEMENT. You must prove to the consular officer that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and a clear intention to marry within 90 days of admission into the United States. In the past, successful applicants have submitted photographs, letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records, and remittance records as evidence supporting their relationships and intent to marry."

Yup.... no mention of a LETTER OF INTENT TO MARRY as required, just evidence to support the ongoing relationship. The visa applicant takes an oath and swears "to understanding" they must get married within 90 days.... And as I posted earlier the embassy has not asked for the LOI in almost 5 years, from any K-1. Why fight reality?

First, the embassy does mention the letter. This has always been known as the letter of intent to marry.

Second, you couldn't possibly know that no one has been asked for a letter of intent to marry in the last five years. That is reality.

Third, the letter of intent to marry is recommended in the VJ guides.

From many filers and myself as well they will ask for the letter of intent and even if they don't why risk it and get possibly denied after all the time and money you spend on the k1 visa

Yes, it is foolhardy to go to the interview without being fully prepared.
