Dear member. On the 23 of this month I went for my interview at san antonio texas. At the end of the interview the officer give me back my expired green card and stamp my passport for another one year. He also kept with him the 2 passport photo I brought. Is this a good or bad sign for approval? Pls share your opinion with me.

Wait until you get approval letter in the mail. You still have an expired GC (which is useless) but your passport stamp will enable you to function while you wait for the outcome.

SO don't go celebrating yet.

Case arrived at NVC: 01/26/2017

NVC sent case to USCIS : 02/09/2017 (system update)

Case receive by USCIS (text & email notification): 03/07/2017

It looks good to me because he didn't deny you at the interview. Did you file with a waiver? If yes, which one?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Thank you. Yes azzein, for your reply I filed for divorce waiver and hardship if remove from the country. I don't have child here but I show him the paper of my business that I sold prior to get here. And I explain to io that going back will not be easy for me to start again.
