We mailed our I-129F on Jan 8th and on 14th we received NOA1 hard copy but since then we haven't heard anything yet. I know it has only been a month and 2-weeks but just wanted to hear what other people's comments. I know each case is different and no one size fits all scenario here. What are your thoughts?

hi, I am in your same situation. Sent papers january 21st. got NOA1 in feb 9th and nothing else since then..

May 15th, 2015; Interview- APPROVED!
June 22nd, 2015: POE at Champlain Border

February 20th, 2016: AOS/EAD/AP Package sent! (Received 2/25, yay for USPS delays!)

March 4th, 2016: NOA 1 for all 3 applications

March 11th, 2016: Hardcopies with all 3 receipt Numbers received

March 30th, 2016: Biometrics (as a code 2, Maybe have to go again?)

April 25th, 2016: Walk in for the SECOND Biometrics appoinment (Code 3 this time, Officer was not the happiest but told us to come back at noon and he'd let us in.)

May 16th, 2016: Submitted Service Request for I-765

June 8th, 2016: Called USCIS concerning delay, officer put another request in and said the previous one would like be ignored as it was created through their website.

June 21st, 2016: Contacted both NY Senators.

July 1st, 2016: RFIE for I-485.

July 8th, 2016; Sent Evidence Requested by USCIS. (Received July 13th)

July 15th, 2016; Emergency Advance Parole due to Family Emergency

July 27th, 2016; Contacted USCIS Ombudsman as my I-765 has been pending for 5 months.

July 30th,2016; EAD/AP have been approved!

You haven't even passed a month waiting for NOA2. The average days between NOA1 en NOA2 are 49 day, they say within 2 months you'll receive NOA2. What I learned from this journey already is that you have to be really really patient. The fact that CSC and VCS are processing cases quicker than Texas, doesn't mean NOA2 will come in within a month. And unfortunatelly, some have to wait 34 days, some 44, and some a little longer. We got our NOA1 on January 19th and they are currently processing cases with NOA1 date 01/16/2016, and as far as we consider it; we do not need anything to worry about. We send in 12 papers full of evidence, boarding passes, everything. Some just take longer, some not. Patients is all we can have.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

No, we had an RFE which they should be in receipt of today (Monday), we turned it around in a couple of hours because we got it on Friday and wanted it straight back out immediately so we weren't adding more waiting time. Who knows how long now.

I wonder how fast cases from Europe get an RFE. Most likely if we're missing supporting documents or not enough evidence but it seems so unlikely sometimes. I hope to get approved soon!
