Thank you Stephadam. We sent enough proof that's why it came as a shock that we recieved a RFE . We are hopeful it is an easy fix. I just might decide to visit my fiancé too, we anticipated it will take 3 months, taking previous filler , but as things stand currently at CSC and NVC we may have to allow one more visit and teary good bye before the final move .

Hopeful you get your approval soon or better still when you are with your fiancé . All the best ?

Best of luck to you, too! We had the same, when we saw the notification of the RFE being send to us we were like, "Umm.. we did send in 12+ pages of pictures, messages, cards from my parents to him, my cards to him and his cards to me." It isn't necessarily the evidence most of the times if you provided enough.

And thanks! I hope Washington officers aren't giving me a hard time when I try to enter. Already nervous about that small convo we're going to have when I'm mentioning "visiting my fiancé" uggghhh, 20 more days lol.

Sorry for your RFE; my first time using this site, and filing....I had failed to include in the package, sons Birth Certificate, that was all; but why reading a lot of info here is a good idea to do. Crossing Ts and dotting I's is really important. Its very easy to have just missed a minor detail, but very little is let go......many of my friends who still patrol on here help people not to make those mistakes, which is why everyone is here, and any question is usually answered cheerfully and helpfully.

As I've said, I've read many....in the past 2 months, from Igor's List, a section about visa approvals....there were about 20 RFE in between my filing date and mine....which is one reason why the approx NOA2 waiting time for the phils went from 43 days when I filed, and up to 55days when we finally got our NOA2 on March 24; but those things are expected.

Don't worry, it might only take about 3-4 weeks, but its probably something really minor, so just relax, and send it back to them what is missing...or might even only be a missed signature on one of the many forms.......

Good luck.... tc

RFE hard copy arrived today . Letter of intent is required for my self( beneficiary) .

Bearing in mind a joint letter of intent was signed by fiancé and I , this was sent with initial petition.

Glad it is an easy fix, will be mailing the letter to fiancé tomorrow( express mail) ?

All the best to those waiting on NOA 2 approvals and NVC case numbers

Go to the top tap and look at example forms there is one you can use, just fill in, print out and sign. We signed in blue ink and others sign in black ink both is fine. And thank you :)

I'm sorry I don't know so somebody there have received their RFE may answer you on that one :)

Prepaid envelope yes, you don't need a post stamp for it! :-) At least we didn't, as I believe.

Pff I hope so, we're almost on 2,5 months now. But if you count on weekdays, they noticed our response on the 18th which I'm not counting with, so it'll be around 7 days now in total that we're waiting. But then again, I hope NOA2 comes in right before I visit le fiancé or when I'm there actually. Would be nice!

87 days in total (including a RFE). This time waiting is harder, is what I believe.
