January NOA1 recipients but no NOA2 yet !!

I've watched and followed a lot of petitions on VJ for several years. It seems the country of the beneficiary has more to do with how long it takes; probably for them having to do background checks; and the embassy that the petition belongs to. Philippines/Manila has always been one of the fastest; so if it comes from a country with a history of a lot of fraud, expect it to take longer, and ones with a lot of questionable data or circumstances....wow, reading a lot of them, I wonder how/why some people thought they'd ever get approved?? Most seem legit, some have been funny sorry to say. Good luck to all;

Baseless comments/ opinions like this defeats the purpose of this forum , taking there are many individuals from various nationals involved in this process. The legitimacy of a relationship is between the two parties involved , not for unknowing spectators or commentators .

The process is long winded as it is , making comments like the above will only make those waiting for NOA 2 approval overthink , second guess and get paranoid . The added pressure is so NOT needed ( my two pence worth)

I hope NOA2 comes in soon. My wedding dress arrives on Friday (or tomorrow), they'll deliver it at home and I want to wear it!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! Haven't found one yet I'm very picky and I found the one and then they couldn't get anymore in my size of course! ... Hope I'll find one soon!!

Do you have a certain idea? It's so much fun to go dress fitting! All those dresses -drool- so gorgeous. I first chose a princessy one with beadings but changed my mind last week and got a more form fitting one with a lace top It's so pretty! I hope you find yours soon and your NOA2 too. It's a long long wait:(

Sadly recieved RFE ( via app) . Waiting on hard copy to know what is required . Hope it arrives at fiancé by the end of next week and we can turn it around quick. All the best to all those waiting for their NOA approval . Best of luck with your journeys .

I have seen people gotten approved a week after the response but also 2 weeks and 3 weeks so we'll just keep our fingers crossed for a fast approval

Most of the times it's an easy fix. You've might forgot a checkbox or anything, no worries if you know you've send in enough proof! I'm still waiting for my RFE response, it's almost a week now after they received our response. I'm just awaiting it, in 25 days I'll be with my fiancé for ten days (decided this morning to visit him and booked tickets) so it might be cute when we get approved while we're together lol. Keep faith, your RFE is probably something small! :-) Allow the CSC to respond between 1-4 weeks.

Thank you Stephadam. We sent enough proof that's why it came as a shock that we recieved a RFE . We are hopeful it is an easy fix. I just might decide to visit my fiancé too, we anticipated it will take 3 months, taking previous filler , but as things stand currently at CSC and NVC we may have to allow one more visit and teary good bye before the final move .

Hopeful you get your approval soon or better still when you are with your fiancé . All the best ?

Well, some of us January filers are still holding on and hoping for the best at the end. We're still within USCIS processing time and even though it's difficult no need to worry about it.
