Give it some time (easier said than done, I know) California used to be the quickest way to get your NOA2 within 1-2 months but since a lot of field offices are sending it to CSC since November (maybe even earlier), I think they are experiencing a lot of delays too. Yet, I hope whoever is still waitinf, gets their NOA2 soon. I'm awaiting my NOA2 since my RFE response got noticed last Friday. I wonder how long this is going to take..

Hi there!

I'm anxiously waiting on my hardcopy of the RFE so I can see what's it's for and respond quickly.

Do they include a separate mailing address to reply to? Is there an option for FedEx/Express Mail or was it a regular mail P.O. Box?

It's a blue letter and behind the blue letter they attached a letter which is saying what they want from you, clear instructions and an envelope with the return adress already printed on it. I suggest you to read it carefully, twice or four times and make sure you copy the RFE + evidence for your interview after NOA2 approval. Send it back in the envelope they send it with. Good luck! It's most likely an easy fix! We send in a LOT of evidence (12+ pages) and we got a RFE for forgetting two checkboxes and they wanted to have my biographical data page.

You're welcome! :) You'll get your RFE in a few days, don't panick. I did that too and started to get anxious but most of the times it's really an easy fix. If anything after your RFE, feel free to message.

Thank you stephadams , i hope the upcoming holiday(s) does not have a knock on effect on the timeline of January fillers ... most cases on USCIS with the same received dates as ours shows " case received ", begs the question " are we the naughty bunch "? haha

Anything after NOA2 is pretty much country-specific. Look up your country specific consulate you'll be processing through and find their instructions. These vary as not every country asks for the same things to bring to the interview with you.

Hop on over to the regional subforum and ask there from other members who have processed thru the same consulate you'll be processing through.

Good luck!! :)

Congrats! Await NOA2 hard copy, after two weeks, let the petitioner call the NVC if the package arrived and they'll give you another case number. They'll send it to your consulate and they will contact you. Read the K1 guide, it'll tell you what to do exactly :)

I've watched and followed a lot of petitions on VJ for several years. It seems the country of the beneficiary has more to do with how long it takes; probably for them having to do background checks; and the embassy that the petition belongs to. Philippines/Manila has always been one of the fastest; so if it comes from a country with a history of a lot of fraud, expect it to take longer, and ones with a lot of questionable data or circumstances....wow, reading a lot of them, I wonder how/why some people thought they'd ever get approved?? Most seem legit, some have been funny sorry to say. Good luck to all;
