Fill out your timeline, it will give an indication, and as more people update there's it will give a more accurate projected date. It's still saying an average of 36-40 days on my one, but I think 5

No, it will not. That it their standard for California. They approve faster then that.

So is there nothing you can do besides for wait? Tried calling USCIS but they won't talk to you until after you have exceeded 5 months.

No unfortunately you are still inside of normal processing so there is nothing to do then wait and hope.

I do hope you hear something soon.

Keep in mind that the average waiting period for NOA2 is not 48 days. It is higher. Why?

Because 48 is the average of people that have received it. Those that haven't received it yet are not counted in this average.

There's one thing coming to my mind when I see your signature. You only have received NOA1 yet, you have a medical planned? Can I ask why so early? Normally you get medical one week before your interview.

Here we don't need the case number to get our medical so I don't have to wait for that number as most countries have too.

And my Fiancé will be here that week and since we have to go to Copenhagen it would be nice that he could come with us..

Ah, makes sense! I wast just wondering :-) I wish I could chose whenever to go.

yeah we are lucky that way, but we are also so few that there is no line if I can say it like that? .. Oh and about that one week before interview it is different from country to country we have to do the interview in Sweden and we have to do the medical at minimum 2 weeks before :)

Alright! I'm curious when mine will take place. Just got notified that my response to the RFE came in yesterday. Now fingers crossed.. it's either approval, denying or a second RFE. I'm starting to get really nervous now :P

Give it some time (easier said than done, I know) California used to be the quickest way to get your NOA2 within 1-2 months but since a lot of field offices are sending it to CSC since November (maybe even earlier), I think they are experiencing a lot of delays too. Yet, I hope whoever is still waitinf, gets their NOA2 soon. I'm awaiting my NOA2 since my RFE response got noticed last Friday. I wonder how long this is going to take..
