I keep emailing the NVC to get some answers about my husbands case. They keep saying that the NVC HAS COMPLETED ITS PROCESSING OF...

Yet no interview date. What does that mean??? Are we close?? His case has been complete for about 10 mons and has been transferred to Algeria for 7 mons. The wait is unbareable.

Oh wow my case was completed yesterday! I hope we don't have to wait that long for London embassy:(

I feel for you guys so much

You can't compare embassies or Visa category. They are F2A (A Green card holder petitioning) they are Algeria that is backed up very much because of all the wars and refugee's. UK is not even close to having issues.

Stop emailing NVC. They do not have your case anymore. Have you emailed the embassy? I know some others for Algeria have been in contact and its a backlog. Also is your PD current? Your Visa category also has much to do with when a interview will be available. Because you have to wait for your Visa number. Sorry.

His case has been current for a while since December. I dont know who else to contact. I tried an email and all they sent was an automessage saying if the email I sent was from someone who doesnt have a interview date it will be deleted. So no reply back of course. And that was to the Embassy in Algeria. I think 7 months is a long wait. I dont understand why its taking this long.I know they have a lot on their hands. Should I call them? I dont know what else to do. I am an American Born Citizen. And I dont want to go back to Yemen, I want my husband here with me.

Okay than you need to be contacting your Congressman. Call now get them on it. That's about all you can do t this point.

If I may ask you said you are American born why are you F2A category then? Or you were born here but didn't live here to meet the requirement.

Okay, I am being honest here. I am at this point confused and actually have no clue what category I would lie under. I was born here in Cali and do reside here. I just go to Yemen to be with my husband for a bit. I filed I130 and thats all I know. Please inform me. My lawyer never spoke to me about this.

Well if you are a US citizen you are not category F2A those are green card holders filing for their spouses. So can you update your profile. PD and being current doesn't apply to you. That applies to green card holders.

You still need to call your congressman. It's Friday call them now.

Did you get a hold of them? We will be cc soon and I heard algeria is 4 to 6 weeks. I also heard they do algerians first then yemens visa. Maybe this is the hold up but that's a long time. I agree with Debbie, call a congressman, preferably a Democrat. Google your local one in your area. Then go onto website and usually you can find a way to contact them.

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.
