Hi everyone! I'm new here and i will really appreciate opinions regarding my case. My husband is a permanent resident and my PD is October 2013. I submitted all the documents and my husband paid the AOS and IVF fees 8 months ago. We are waiting for our case to be complete and for an interview appointment. I called NVC last month and told me that our case is under review and then i callled again few days ago but still they told me the same thing. I just want to know is that normal? They told me that they have everything they need and they are just reviewing our case. I hope somebody could relate to me. Being away from each other is so hard especially we have kids who are missing their daddy so much. Thank you all and God bless!

I will agree that 8 months seems to be longer that it should be, but. The USCIS may be overloaded at this time and it is taking longer. Be patient, it will happen. I know it is difficult to just wait with no information.

Best of luck!

M wife's PD was Jan 21, 2014 and she is already here for six months and has her green card already. NVC is taking way too long in your case. Call them again and ask the representative to elevate your case to manager level. You should be here long time ago.

it is already delayed enough. applicants with PD sep. 2014 have already been scheduled for interview. you should call NVC and talk to tier 2 officer.

my lawyer called the NVC and they told him that they haven't reviewed our case yet. We waited for the 42 days that they told us and now they told us that they haven't reviewed it yet. Very frustrated. Now my lawyer told me that he will call again and ask to speak directly to a supervisor. Ahhh.... Feeling so sad but still remaining postive here.
