Hi everyone,

I am in the need of your precious help VJ members.

To explain quickly, we applied 11/16 and got approved within a month thanks to the CSC.

But now with the post and delays to send papers overseas, here am I only now, filling the DS-160.

Okay so my problem is that I did the DS-160 online (02/10) but wrote the WAC number instead of the PRS. So I've seen there was a topic on it only that says it's fine if the WAC is used, it's actually the one needed. However, when I check the Paris Embassy, they say the PRS201... is needed which clearly means I am in the wrong.

In the meantime I wrote an email (a few actually) to know whether it was okay or not. Because I would like to send my 2001 readiness form back to the Embassy, but my applicayion number will depend on whether I have to fill it out again or not... I hope you follow me! So did anyone have been in this situation?

The other problem is that I am scared to wait too long, as our NOA2 is only valid until Aprils 15th and I have been told it can take over a month to get an appointment for the Embassy (how long is the wait to find an appointment date after we paid the feel?). So I wouldn't want to wait too long...

If anyone could help me on whether I should just send my readiness form or if I should fill out a new DS-160 form, it would be great!

PS: If I fill out another form, they won't get confused at the Embassy right?

Thank you so much for taking the time to help us everyday and hope that one day I'll be able to help many people back too :goofy:
