I751 denied on abandonment. Need help.

I filed I751 on March 20, 2015 and fingerprints were collected on Apr 27,2015.

then I have been waiting and waiting.

About two weeks ago, I received a letter that I751 is denied because I did not respond to RFE within the time period allowed or the mail was returned as undeliverable.

on summer, my house underwent to repair that damage and I temporarily stayed at my sister's house.

At that time, I did not change the address through USCIS but requested forwarding service at usps. It was HUGE mistake.

Do I have to file I290B in this case?

I don't know what RFE was. I never received it.

You are also a victim of the online status. RFEs never show up in the online status. Until you are actually approved, the status just shows the classic we received your case and sent you a notice etc etc etc status . So unless you have the actual mail in your hand, you would have zero chance of knowing you received RFE. Maybe you already did but have you talked to a higher rank USCIS agent? If not, call and tell your story. You never knew you got RFE, online status never reflected that, the VSC timeline still shows they are processing cases from March 30th, so you never suspected there was something wrong with your case.Tell them you are ready to respond to the RFE immediately if they let you. Maybe they would understand, but this is government who knows.

If I were you, I would also not hesitate talking to a good immigration lawyer about this. I wouldn't just rely on what people write on this forum. Ultimately it is your immigration status. Good luck!
